I am the voice of your conscience
You would bury my memory
Erase me from your history books
But I refuse to go away, I refuse to die
Here I am today, thousands of years after
you would have buried me in Modi’in…
in Jerusalem… at the tip of Mohammed’s sword…
in Torquemada’s Spain… in Luther's ‘Reformation’
In your swarming Eastern and Western European ghettos
in Czarist Russia, in Stalin’s USSR, in Hitler’s Third Reich
in Poland, Lithuania, Egypt, Syria Lebanon, in ‘Palestine’ too…
Yet I, the Jew, voice of your conscience, stand my ground
To remind you that my unshakeable love of God and my People Israel
is stronger than your visceral hatred of my redoubtable faith...
For 'Mother Russia,’ 'Nationalist China,’ 'America the Free’ will go the way
of Ancient Greece and Babylon ~ but I shall still be around…

The collectors' job is to get the drugs out of the container
and away from the docks, from where they will be transported
to Amsterdam, Germany, Poland, Holand, Lithuania, Latvia,
Estonia, Finland and other parts of Europe.Over 150 tons of
illegal drugs were seized by French authorities in 2022 and
with it comes unprecedented drug violence in Belgium and
the Netherlands, whose ports of Antwerp and Rotterdam,
respectively, have become the main gateways for Latin American
cocaine cartels into the continent. In Belgium, the justice minister
is forced to live in a safehouse, out of reach of drug gangs.
Note.Drug Lords are powerful, strong, and dangerous.

Lithuania has told Vladimar Putin to keep out of our nation
They've been shifting freight to and from the Russian federation
Putin has said they'll take action, it's just another hollow threat
But if he takes any kind of military action with force he'll be met.
Any hostile act against one, is a hostile action against us all
Lithuania has nothing to fear and it's Vlad Putin who'll fall
Because any hostile action will then trigger article five
NATO will respond with force, and Putin will be lucky to survive.
If Vladimar Putin wants to send freight to the Kaliningrad region
He'll have to find another way, the west won't give permission
But NATO' s eagle eyes are watching, Vladimar Putin's every move
And certainly won't back down, the west has nothing to prove.
Russia's botched special operation so far, has been a total disaster
They think Ukraine will give in to bombings, atrocities and slaughter
Ukrainians are proud and would rather die, than lose their sovereignty
And have repelled the Russians in battle with acts of sheer bravery.

LORD, I humbly greet You, return to my prayer list from near LESOTHO
Adoration is the FIRST STEP in prayer (That's how I begin) using A-C-T-S
The letters, not the word, A for adoring Him, C for confession of sins
Variety & Individuality in prayer, but these steps are essential (O Lebanon!)
I intercede, Abba-Father, for countries whose names begin with "L" (Laos!)
At the start I thought I wouldn't recall them all; almost forgot leaderless Libya
Africans used Libya as a way to Europe - Refugee Crisis - before Corona Virus!
Not Ghadafi's Libya under forced good behavior, but the wildness of "democracy"
Do show mercy to all Creation, in Jesus' Name, to those "named and unnamed"
Liechtenstein and Luxembourg could easily be overlooked, no news
Is GOOD news when talking of a pandemic, yet we pray for big and small
Bless us: Liberia & Lithuania, Father, the One Jesus made known us ("Abba")
You are the God of second, third, or umteen chances; we ask Thy forgiveness
As we seek Thy Spirit of Truth, O Holy Spirit, to teach us (as Jesus promised)

When texting was just starting out, my friend texted LOL to me.
Little ornery lunatic?
Lovely ordinary laugh?
Luxuriously outstanding lady?
Lobe-oriented log-splitter?
Land over Lithuania?
Lime Orange Lion-berries?
I texted back “what is LOL?”
But she had shut her phone off
For the night.
I texted three more friends,
But their phones had also
Been shut off.
This was before people started
carrying their cellphones all
day long, looking at them
constantly you see.
LOL

My father’s funeral, a sad occasion
but his cruel actions go beyond the grave
My sister had organised a display
A silver frame contained a picture of his smiling face
Many other smaller photographs were scattered on the table
One picture in particular caught my eye
I’d never seen this photograph before …
One stone of cold chiselled grey granite
Three generations of names embellished with gold letters
a permanent family memorial…
But MY name was missing
One of the mourners asked me why my name wasn’t there
It is a question I still don’t have an answer for
Two years have passed since he died …
I am still yet to grieve
(This has been a very cathartic poem to write. I have since discovered that in 2007 my father organised for his name, my mother’s name and my sister’s name to be added to the family grave in Lithuania. Just the dates of death are missing… along with my name)
