LOL if you do not know by now means Laugh Out Loud

When texting was just starting out, my friend texted LOL to me. Little ornery lunatic? Lovely ordinary laugh? Luxuriously outstanding lady? Lobe-oriented log-splitter? Land over Lithuania? Lime Orange Lion-berries? I texted back “what is LOL?” But she had shut her phone off For the night. I texted three more friends, But their phones had also Been shut off. This was before people started carrying their cellphones all day long, looking at them constantly you see. LOL

I remember my utter confusion over that one, too! If I had thought of "Little ornery lunatic", I'm sure I would've assumed that's what my friend meant! Hahahahaha! ;D Fun poem!

"Lobe-oriented log-splitter" that one really got me laughing. This was fun Caren and there are still some that I get that I have no idea what they mean and I am to embarrassed to ask. :)

Love this write! And then there was ROFL. When I went to my cousin’s wedding shortly after the cellphone revolution, I laughed as I saw several outside on their cell phones. And now my parents stare at theirs! :0

This is a phenomenon that pretty much yells "You might as well join them" no one is talking to anyone else anymore anyway.

Thank you Beata. I still see so many acronyms the teenagers use that I do not know. I think they have one that means parents in the room - PIR? and Parental Units Listening -PUL?
