UNBOUND

Battling warfare to secure my future linage

A mother’s tears, a sister’s fight, bloodline’s vileness

Descendants imprisoned; heredities remain childless

Never experience freedom or visualize God's gifts in their arms

Through legal agreement, disappointments were spawned

I curse Leviathan, Jezebel, and Marine spirits,

Malevolent witchcraft, hocus pocus—I am not with it

Fortuneteller, Soothsayer, Warlock-Satanist

Wiccan, stargazers, zodiac followers, and hypnotists

Necromancer, mediums, peeping and muttering

False prophesy, curses, and malicious utterings

The Lord of Armies-Mighty in Battle eliminates you

The pleading of His name my legacy grew

rising from bed in the morning
seeking shelter when it's storming
idly whiling stray hours away
dreaming there will be better days
fabricating a self-image
with a more prominent linage
doodling on back of a letter
shunning life as a go-getter

paying of various taxes
wielding rhetorical axes
stopping by the grocery store
dealing with muscles which are sore
waiting in the queue at the bank
musing why the page remains blank
finding the proper words to say
quickly dealing with come-what-may

filtering life's little lessons
leaving positive impressions
contemplating all that might be
if we'd just win the lottery
making life much less exacting
all in the action of acting
discovering what keeps us sane
among remains of the mundane

Reverse Polarity

Linage totally broaden,
Spun before the darkness;
Nothing be closed bantered-black,
Horizontal dismissed toggle;
Lists topsy-turvy tracks,
Vertical crevices

Lever rests supported pivots,
Supported cryptic;
Representation essential role,
Bi-polar toll;
Black darkeness reverse polarity;
Now of this is clear to me?

Not In My Blood

It is not my fault.
Not in my linage,
not in my blood,
how to make things
disappear as I pass close
to other peoples things
or items not mine
or cherished possessions,
not even in their absence,
things not my own,
not belonging to me,
for I am not a magician.
Was not born a
kleptomaniac.
I guess I'm good at
leaving things behind,
instead of stealing them.
They disappoint me,
hurt my feelings.
What can I say,
like those elite ones
in public office
embezzling public funds
or rather stealing it.
What a humiliation
for the family,
or the embarrassment
to the friends of such a one.
I cover my face in shame
because of people like that.
It's not in my blood,
I cannot condone such people.
A thief is not a thief
because he stole,
a thief is a thief because he steals.

I

I am mahlatse thobejane
A young girl that is called luck
Luck that has graced the thobejane family
My words flow like a silent beat

A silent beat that is heard down my ancestral linage
A linage that flows of silent poets
 that speak of a voice
As sweet as the nights silence

Silence that is heard as I grace the stage
My poetic instrument realised
A great explosion
I have graced the stage

As I walk my life's journey
Feeling as light as a paper
Blown side to side by the precious winds of life
 led directly to my destination
The destination of poetic B

Poet In a Pool of Love

Poet in a Pool of Love
...... For You Ajinle

A
jin
le

When my yearning becomes a letter
Of love inside the dust of time
This lyric will deliver my affection to you
Ajinle the precious daughter of Adegboye
For love is always love
For two dreaming hearts
When their hearts never departs each other
When the cloud of love erupt their minds.

Ajinle
Love is not for coward hearts
Love is not for fragile minds
When I thought how I love you in silence
My heart beat faster
My spirit linger through your undiscovers planet
I found myself in a pool of love

Ajinle
When my song becomes a melody of joy
It is because of you!
My poems are not for ragged - minds
But I will read dirge if you departs my life
Or, is their anything to compare with the absence of love?

A
jin
le,
Our love and present-shadow is a destiny of tomorrow
Though we are way-farers

By,
Ajeyemi Wasiu .A.
Note: Ajinle 'Yoruba linage for female'
Adegboye: 'Royal name belong to monarch family'

Mirror Mirror

Looking in the mirror
What do I see?
A Beautiful Black Woman
Staring at me
I don’t grace
The cover of
A Beauty Magazine
But I have been
Known to cause
A scene
Carmel with a little swirl
Is how
I describe myself
Chocolate Eyes
Projecting
My inner soul
Cheekbones
That only
A true
Queen holds
Thin Lips
But juicy
Enough to kiss
A Smile
That weakens
The toughest thug
A Nose
That knows
it’s regal
Linage
No
I don’t grace
The cover of
Any Beauty Magazine
But what
A Beautiful Black Woman
I Be

Swirled

I put up the barriers and molded the Great White Stone.
I searched all written doctrines that embodied my light.
It was a remarkable journey let me tell you of my flight.
I even went through DNA of every strand of every bone.

I matched all the genetic linage to kind energies ingrown.
It was like an open door after door where all turns bright.
The misplacement that followed is truly way out of sight.
Seeing it all made me search my truth and I wasn’t alone.

I felt like I am the only one.
There was just me to believe.
There was too much undone.
More than humans conceive.

This was an origin unknown and not of this world.
This is timeless intelligence appropriately swirled.

Medieval Seduction

I have not always history enjoyed

	It started small
a little corner of my minds eye
But my vision widened
	Into history,
		and her story.
     I became intrigued.
What fine clothes they wore,
	what handsome steeds,
		Purer flower and fauna.
Architecture so inspired
	Multi spired
Vastly simple
	Opulent, yet necessary
Where was I in that design?
	Which ancestor sent me here?
	 	from what linage?

The cares of today
	evolved from the past
		 then rush into the future.
I can embrace
	from whence I came
chose paths that will take me
		where I wish to go.
	So if
          		while reading stories
			and accounts
	of things that were before
I settle back against a rock or pillar
		dreaming of what was
	I am merely seduced
		by gentle tendrils
	teasing my imagination
		for a second glance
into the cloak of the past.

Fatherless Dream

The man I will never know
A shadow
Not even a footstep to follow

No memories to rely
Fainted pictures
No reason to cry

Would I be what I am woe
Useless reasonings
For only God would know

My father has gone, passed from sight
Curse death for he hath won the fight

Why then do I search for thee
A heart broken
My mother crying over me

Dreams are not all they are meant to be
False hope
Knowing it wasn't left to me

Not a son to continue on
A blood linage
Lost forever in a fatherless son
