believe me I need to trust you.
I will be riding a rampage
if I have a reason not to.
Entertaining the payment due
is not a show you would enjoy.

Flick-flick-flickering on the wall

Tip-tip-tiptoeing down the hall

As a dancer one day
I was in love to to be dancing.
As a dancer one day,
my feet couldn't stand on.
Rehearsing for hours for nothing, 
but bleeding, 
on a dance permormance
I couldn't be anymore.

for me has reached the end. 
My dance shoes still feet me
but the steps don't feet

Life brings out poetry from the inner man and woman
A word like a river flows through the mind
And darkness turns to light while
Many poems are written because of the dark night

has never been my style.
I’ve always been one,
keeping a low profile.

Which makes me,
a behind the scenes kind of guy.

The season's almost over,
and I hate seeing it leave
without a whisper,

complaint or compliment,
while poets
bask in literary sunlight,

thinking the moment is eternal.
April's month of poetry
is soon to end.

Once I had to go on stage
reading my poetry, I was a nervous wreck
but when up there bathed in light
that shone just for me I was in my element.
Each poet had read three poems, but I was unstoppable
until the arranger of the festival dragged off stage.

My boy, a young lad, died fighting the Iraq war. 
It could be any war, could be my son,
Your son or anyone's son, what does it matter?
All wars are same, all sons are same.
A lot of decorum, a lot many bravery medals
Came posthumously.
His name was in the newspapers-
Photographs everywhere-
Interviews-cameras-speeches!
