Many Poets Came To the Limelight Through Their Dark Nights
Life brings out poetry from the inner man and woman
A word like a river flows through the mind
And darkness turns to light while
Many poems are written because of the dark night
Fortified through their human existence
Poets are pressed on either side
They often ride toward a battle
As they rattle with the elements of life
One page
As they engage with the alphabet and
Let the words glow and show the heart’s message
In reality, poetry tells the truth about our struggles and joys
Poets stand with the glory of their individuality
Knowing that they can rise beyond the horizon
While filtering the elements engraved with poison
Hence, poetry is sprinkled through time for all eternity
