Premium MemberExit Ramp

The exit ramp looms large just up ahead,
though still an unknown distance ‘round the bend,
a terminus of sorts.
Perhaps a point from which to send
us out of time constraints, into the now,
the means by which remain unknown, just how
exactly, this all ends.
To fret, a waste, ’tis said, so I shall trust instead.

And yet, this ideation blooms within
my mind, a frequent fascination that
with other thoughts, comports.
If only now, is there no then,
and sequencing of time, thus obsolete,
as all arrive en mass, surprised to meet?
The world I know is flat;
my finitude stretched thin, constrained to trust again.

Another fun one, a Mistress Bradstreet stanza: 10a-10b-6c-8b-10d-10d-6b-12a

This one comes from a notion from reading Matthew 25, in the Last Judgment. All would have died at different times, but on that day, all were surprised, hence the idea of different departures, all arriving at now.

Premium MemberMichelangelo

Michelangelo Buonarroti
          at thirteen
pen to paper drawings
        showed great talent
and as an apprentice he acquired
    basic fresco skills

  he studied space
and the human body anatomy
      he was poor
but brimming with energy
          and ambition
and was introduced to poetry
      and wrote poetry also

    he loved carving
bringing life to his sculptures
      I adore his Pieta
no corpse could be
               more life like
   it is said

reliefs on wood
        the Sistine chapel
  frescos
          tomb carvings
oh, the last judgment divine
          and so much more

Michelangelo
        died
             weeks before
his 89th birthday
     and is buried in
              his home town
of Florence
     that was his wish

Free of All Lies

Belief in the end…
  if truth be your cross

To break or to bend
  veracity’s cost

Last judgment your own
  hawks chase as doves fly

One choice to atone
 —when free of all lies

Encrypted Seasons

A year is measured as an image of
life for a man or woman upon
this earth.

Spring, which brings new life to the
world, is the symbol of baptism.
The cleansing of the souls of men and
women as it renews the soul at their
moment of entrance into life.

Summer with its blazing heat and its
ever shinning light are also reminders
of the faithful light of another world
and the powerful love of God and the
symbol of infinity.

Autumn, the Season of harvest and
generations of old, and is the symbol
of the last judgment, that great day
on which we will reap what we have
sown.

Finally, Winter the shadow of death
that awaits the resurgence of mankind
and the renewal of life and this earth.

Through the ever changing Seasons,
we gain knowledge of the process of
life as we walk this earth filled with symbols
and signs while under a road mapped sky
teeming with ideals.

Daimyo

Normally I would associate one like that with arrogance
With splendor of substance but not valor
Daimyo standing alone in field of battle
Selfish and vain

But sometimes such defiance is to be prized
Ice in veins
Fire in soul
Sad but purposeful and determined visage

Standing among corpses in battle he didn’t start
Forced hand
Dream of bliss
Turned into nightmare of demons

Standing before last judgment
After the battle
Will there be justice
You will remember the name

If there be no justice
I will exterminate the judge
In the path of sorrow
The last man standing

Even if he won’t be that man
Name to remember
The soul belongs to me
And only me

This is his, my destiny
And I will be its blacksmith
Forged by my hand
In the final judgment my soul should find peace

Take place at the end of the world
The second coming of Father Christ
“All who are in the tombs will hear His voice and come forth
Those who have done good, the resurrection of life
Those who have done evil, the resurrection of judgment”
(St. Jn 5:29)

Premium MemberWill We Be Brought To Judgment After Death

So-called particular judgment occurs
At the moment of death of the individual
The general judgment
Also called the Last judgment
Occurs on the Last day
At the end of the world
When the Lord comes again

Rotational Poles

In a ravaging mind
devoid of plain vision,
all purpose of motion
gets abandoned on hold
once losing that stable
clarity of judgment,

still paying off judgments
with tortures taxing mind;
gusts fill tissues stable
regardless of vision
to load each vessel hold
using sanguine motion.

I present my motion
to lungs before judgment,
proving walls never hold
since logic doesn’t mind
the destructive vision
in cosmic clues stable,

this teeming soul stable
directing with motion
doppelganger visions
sequestered for judgment
once prevalent in mind
with each mortal I hold.

Such trajectories hold
orbits rendered stable,
illusions of the mind
fooling sense of motion
despite viral judgment
from idols with vision

provoking this vision
enthralled in steady hold
until the Last Judgment
pulls apart my stable,
a tremolo motion
tearing the public mind.

Such judgments of vision
shall mind my living hold
stable in fierce motion.
