Just how deep, my love for thee? Ocean deep
Dive in and let yourself drown
Stay submerged in my heart

Death Of Mother:
she tucked you in at night - the nightingale,
soothed your forehead with her palm
and there her song presides.
Death Of Child:
your tears squeezed out...
THE ALOHA SPIRIT
beach, family, ocean,
like linen sheets upon a clothesline breathe
air circulates through our home
Pearl City Oahu
a small fenced in yard bumps the busy road
where a papaya tree grows
the veil falls and dire is the diamond heart
the entire sapphire ocean
hanging about her neck
From the river bank, a water course cannot be changed
take the risk and go mid-stream
short cuts are easy and cheap but
with straight forward deadly consequences.
Crab Crossing -Kimo-
imagery, inspiration, october, poetry,
Beware the crabs, going across the street
have to get to the ocean
to lay their precious eggs.

I watch the sky change colors
mirroring my mood swings....
in the distance you can hear the whales cry
the cobalt ocean welcomes
a new calf in its midst…
