Riddle me this
How is it that one loses their soulmate?
I mean, from across the universe
You unite
Amid all the signs of auspicious coincidence
And then after years of making such union
Familiar, known but ultimately mundane
You just as unexpectedly part.
Is it a cruel mistake
Or the fortuitous unfolding of one’s twisted fate?
Such is life with its volumes and chapters
Full of stories
Each one complicated by myriad tangents
As each character interacts
Their own paths expanding and entangling
In labyrinths
Layer upon layer
A tangled web of blue.
And so we meet in recognition
And then part, to go where on our individual ways?
Some things are just not for us to know,
But what can be known, as time continues
Is that the ties that bind
Are never ever really loosed.
And in this there is solace and continuity
Of souls forever mated and bound
Despite our twisted fates
Until next our labyrinthine ways connect.
Life goes on, after all, forever and forever
Within us and without us.

Good karma, like a knight in shining armor’s might,
Guides us through the dark and into the light.
Heals the wounds with rays that gleam,
Sets the path for a radiant beam.
Carving and gliding on this transformative journey,
Harnessing energy from the cosmos’s story.

That overlooked, we become,
Tracks us down, like a hungry wolf,
Eventually catching up, devours us,
Leaving nothing, but itself.
That forgotten, returns,
Haunting us, night and day,
When least suspected, it floods back,
Taking with it, all we seek to protect.
That which we pretend to be,
engraves its name upon us,
for all to see what we have become,
and what we are no longer.
And so turns the karmic wheel,
around and around,
until at last,
its work with us is done.

Instead of remaining in a place where you were left twice,
God has finally blessed you with somewhere where others are nice.
I'm finding relief in how you no longer need any advice.

Head-heart conspire, the plot thickens,
slowing thought flow, ego quickens,
choosing thus to negate desire,
the plot thickens, head-heart conspire.
Soul’s sheet wiped clean, karma’s erased,
for we have been by bliss mists grazed,
revealing our heart’s lustrous sheen;
karma’s erased, soul’s sheet wiped clean.
Bliss elixir for us alone
becomes boundless joy we do own,
as nodes stir in our soul’s mixer,
for us alone, bliss elixir.
Propelled by bliss, vaporised self
dances in glee all by itself,
recognising that God is this ~
vaporised self, propelled by bliss.

The heart is the fulcrum of human consciousness, be it dark or light.
Consciousness comes when the soul inhabits the body; animates its
path through life.
When consciousness lives within the light, love controls the newborn heart;
until ego and corruption set in, then thins are not so bright.
Ego says we have a right to do anything, corruption taught darkens the heart;
reorganizes its spiritual wiring.
Beware the tipping fulcrum point, for Karma can be rough;
if you must err, it’s best to do so on the side of love.

Karmic seeds once sown,
Thought, I’d reap fruits by me grown,
Spring came, soon was gone,
And turned to summer too soon,
And fruitless far my fortune!
It dawned: I might sow,
But it pays if I well know:
My job’s just to sow,
Man no more can than propose,
Someone sits there to dispose.

Karmic rebound but a mirror
To know God in-dwells all
That we may feel love within stir
Manifest as bliss squall
Ceasing to weigh and size
Oh hermit, here now rise
God’s pure love, realise
Desires unsound
Karmic rebound

Karmic seeds sown meet fulfilment
When boomerang returns
Heart rests in quiet contentment
Erst ferality burns
When the light divine nears
Lower mind disappears
Into void that endears
Bliss currents hone
Karmic seeds sown

The sky hounds are tracking me down
in the cul-de-sac of social anxiety drive...
Despite covering my tracks in a hot peppered wind...
sticking the heart into a bowl of burning dice
(to cover the scent of predictability)
they've arrived.to bore their way back into the core
pick the scab off every weakness
exposing every soul blemish,
(that crippling, iron face of shyness)
that's chased me through the back alleys of life.
The sky hounds have cornered me again
waving stingers -coming down hard
like an anvil in the night
getting off on the vibe of
my twitching mind.
Years later I'd half-mastered
all those black lessons from the past
kneaded my heart into a flower
dipped the petals in a whorl of lime.
attracting that swarm of hollow iciness
then laughed as their stingers snapped
when the wet cement of karma had dried in their minds.

Every poem penned may not get writ well,
Some bloom, some wilt, some see not much of light,
A full moon wanting to cast silver spell,
Dawn dawning, submits to her splendours bright.
Not all pens get to reach the depth of heart,
Nor all of life may from a dream dreamt stem,
Some get withered by old nightmares apart,
And fail to imprint their lasting emblem.
Man toils still all the same, hindrance nor let,
Tries spreading dream blossoms on a tall bough,
And yet, few what they greed may ever get,
Alas, soil seeds or not, one ought to plough.
Man ought to sow seeds— wild rather than not,
And never once keep parched his karmic pot.

You can pick 'em up with your fingers.
Did I mention they're scrumptious?
Oh yes, you can't eat them.
They're only for others.

I could have done this
But I went and did that
Had a chance to keep my mouth shut
Couldn't stop myself from
Saying what I said
Went out and challenged fate
When I should have stayed in bed
If I had a chance to do it all over
Nothing would be any different
I'd do the same damn thing again
I try to fool my conscience
Into believing
I'm a victim of circumstance
I promise to travel a different highway
Knowing there's not a chance.
Because this road to ruin I'm on
Has no place to turn around
No exits no rest stops no roadside attractions
Just ghost towns filled with
dreams and promises I've abandoned
Running on fumes my tank of resolve almost empty
The arrow pointing to E
Remnants of habit still holding me hostage
My life a Karmic Comedy
I'm the only one laughing
I found out the joke is on me.
