Juggernaut Poems

Juggernaut

A war has been on going in my mind,
Of sinful thoughts and bad habits.
So I had to delete the source,
Get back on the right course.

I gave the gram power over my life,
Fiercely driving and consuming me.
I kept feeding it like an addiction,
Still my appetite was left empty.

I felt in my spirit God say pull,
Pull the plug, like a rug under my feet.
An awful compulsion of hiding and seeking,
If this was court, the verdict would be guilty.

Stuck between the traps and temptations,
I made a change like flicking a switch.
Flushed the urge from my system,
Renewed reposition and confidence.

The desire to stay relevant,
Shouldn’t outweigh development.
It’s hard to avoid the trends,
But it’s worth it in the end.

A carapace of courage
Lies buried in the hills.
A library of wisdom
Stocked with empty pages,
Erased for all the ages.
A husk of special skills
And verbal vitality
Dad, juggernaut at rest.

The Moon comes early to the sky tonight
She hides behind the clouds, just out of sight,
her shadowed features softened by the white

She secretly looks on as he
spreads languidly out on the sea

And longs to turn to ash beneath his stare
but never more than flashes will she dare
so he burns past her, ever unaware

But what is sought, another's got
for Earth has caught this juggernaut

She'll do what must be done to earn his light!
If large is what he likes, then large she'll be
And waxing full, she'll fill the sky they share
'til Earth is but a past that he's forgot

The Juggernaut

My eyes tell a story
Do you wanna know?
The tempest and the temptations
Are alive but wasn't enough to trounce me

I'm wild and loyal
Resilient and practical
Church-mindedly ruthless and effervescent
A cheerful giver of love not lust

Smirtle! I make you laugh not cause I care
But to show my brawniness
My prowess as a queendom
Goes without the saying - I rule

Not bard of Homer or Avon
But I write
Your destiny not mine
I'm the juggernaut

Juggernaut

Veracious voices that come out to play,
Wandering words tell the tale…
Mending hearts in the mist.

Where secluded sacrifices submerge,
Whispers warming in their waves…
Sailing scriptural shores.

A man stands alone in the baneful breeze,
Watching the world decaying;
The juggling juggernaut.

This verse is inspired by & dedicated to, our brother poet Tommy (Son of Spock)...who is on hopefully, a short sabbatical...Live long and prosper SOS...lets show some love...

Juggernaut

When I read the wiki's definition
of juggernaut* as a fierce
and ruthless force, I shrug.

When I see the face of Jagannatha,
full of eyes, smiling at me,
I cannot but smile back.

When I think about his younger sister,
lovely Subhadra, I sigh
like a snake in the jug.

* The word is derived from Jagannatha, which is one of the names of Krishna.

Forced Juggernaut

I haven’t a brain become lost in concentration
lacks stamina needs long distance training
aid ambition camped up a state of stationed
life journey minimal foresight expectation

Many abide by rules living life caught
influenced actions through influencing thoughts
I seek the unsought alike a juggernaut
thoughts of others in me unthought

I’m not the sort they can lock in a cage
my mind seeks knowledge too misbehave
this impulsive behaviour breeds you brave
my impulses pulsate I masquerade

Alternative thinking I can’t alternate
we reach same outcomes different ways
where I stand it’s all you who are strange
bigger picture’s I render our species range

Juggernaut

Juggernaut.

Feeling so weak with no chance of release,
Standing in front of the Juggernaut.
You charge at me and I break down and plead;
Why won’t you stop what you are doing? I can’t take it anymore!

Juggernaut, Juggernaut;
I cannot stop the Juggernaut.
Everything that I have been taught,
Never prepared me for the Juggernaut.

There's a dragon on my tail
And it’s breathing fire down on me.
There is a failure to acknowledge,
The things we never took the time to see.

In all the worlds that I have seen,
The Juggernaut is the biggest thing.
In all the dreams that I have dreamt;
Nothing destroys like the Juggernaut
And now there is no time left.

You cannot run from the Juggernaut;
It will smash straight through your life and it will carry on its course.
There is no escape from the destruction that it will cause;
Time has become a Juggernaut and soon everything will be no more.

Jungle Juggernaut

Do you wake up well jungle juggernaut?
If the forest wakes up well, it's to me egal ;
if the forest doesn't wake up well, it's to me egal;
if the tusker has woken up well, what else?

You that breathe with dexterity,
You that walk with dexterity.
Your foot print; fortress for the rodents.
Do you wake up well Elephant?

Mind not their foolhardiness,
they that see you in distance and propose:
come let hunt him with our stick.
Is the tamer of forest not bigger than that we say
let's hunt him with our cudgels?
Bull may be tethered, buffallo may be;
the king is yet uncrowned
that can tether the jungle juggernaut.

Not the crush
But the GOD
JUGGERNAUT!
Racing hidden above a naked earth
Power roiling deep within
For just a day or two wet smells
Liberated soil
Chlorophyll
At intervals sense a BURST
Guts of Juggernaut at work
Don't now look into the sky
Clouds have no lasting eternally
Action boils down here

HE's left a peaceful winter place
Opened up green veins
And saturates the mind of spring

Time Is a Juggernaut

Time is a Juggernaut
jostling by
knocking you down
and doesn't care why

  Nudging you off
of the track you were on
trashing your space
invading your home

  Shoving big features
right in your face
crashing your party
taking your place

  Time's own agenda
Bully takes All!
tripping you up
just to laugh
when you fall

  Time takes your family,
time takes your things
time's still around
when the fat lady sings

  waiting outside when
you've had all your fun
time takes you home
and asks what you've done

  It isn't your father
it isn't your friend
But it's all that you want
when you get to
the END.........TIME
