Juggernaut

Not the crush
But the GOD
JUGGERNAUT!
Racing hidden above a naked earth
Power roiling deep within
For just a day or two wet smells
Liberated soil
Chlorophyll
At intervals sense a BURST
Guts of Juggernaut at work
Don't now look into the sky
Clouds have no lasting eternally
Action boils down here

HE's left a peaceful winter place
Opened up green veins
And saturates the mind of spring

To quote Lawrence Welk - "Wunerful Wunderful" - I love the whole thing, but the last line is perfection!

Wow! I read it twice once before and once after looking up JUGGERNAUT. (... a word not used much in America...but, it's a good word. Especially the way you have used it herein.) I like your slant on the forces of nature...subject to the God. Enioyed reading your poem this morning. Keep writing. Love, Dane
