Funny things happen when you least expect them.
                                    Usually involving a cat.
                                     Napping on your face.

comprehending non-duality

intermediate truths will do for now
involving dissolution of ego
staid stillness reveals what mind cannot know
by direct touch, God wisdom does endow
kundalini rises if we allow
whence sailing in the boat which God does row
spirit repays debts of love which we owe 
clear sight’s bestowed when to His will we bow

ego vaporises yet we remain
we as living light dissolve in God’s heart
both immanent as also transcendent
we see soul’s journey has not been in vain
as pure awareness, we add love to cart
living light eternal, bliss resplendent

Of Memories Buried

With all memories, time comes and goes.
Like a giant river, it gathers speed.
Toward the great inevitable - it flows.
Can we possibly recall our every deed?

So many recollections haunt my mind.
Some, however, are not remembered,
and if my soul had limbs, perhaps I’d find
certain memories have been dismembered. 

Sometimes I’m told stories of things involving me:
tales I don't recall - like a poem with no rhythm and no rhyme.
My parts in these plots have simple got to be
“memories buried in the wavering wash of time.”

When Ash Remembers Flame

I slipped the mirror mournful cry,
Where silhouettes lick the silvery sky.
There is no name or voice left to claim—
There was just airless slate and a flame.
 
 A corroded sun starts to drown,
 Its crown is a ring of ash and sound.
 I donned my wreckage as a hymn,
 Stillness buried the spirit within.

Celestial bodies discard where I've bled,
But roots remember every word I said.
I attempted to heal what mercy had torn,
With hollow hands—unclothed and forlorn. 

The breeze once sighed, "I could rise,"
 But each move was imbued with lies.
 I hooked my terror to phantom gates,
 I spotted it glitter, and now it waits.
 
I am unable to contain what life remains,
 Each flicker is exhausted to yearn again.
 So I inspire the twilight to bend—,
 Allow me flames and reach an end.
 
 If light emerges, avoid letting it blaze—
 Allow it to fall softly in darkened haze.
 Not involving a savior's dazzling flame,
 Yet anguish interacts through my name.

The Vast Depth

Even when it seems all random,
Not involving a creator..
I am overwhelmed by the coincidences.
How much depth it carries?
Is it the depth of brainly stuff?
Consciousness stuff?
I really don’t know.
The depth is vast, and 
As vast goes the time’s arrow.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

It would have been our first Christmas and New Year.
When we could enjoy the silent night and fire work together,
It would also mark our one year of friendship.
A simple, pure and full of fun relationship.
That was how I wished,
But it was not what you wanted.
So, you had to call it a quit, 
Without doing any possible bit.
Simply, you just alienated me,
Ceased all contact in person and via messages.
Please do not push me any further,
I worked well under pressure.
I have already done some arts involving you,
The works seemed amazing to many,
Somehow, you would not agree.
That was how typical you were.

Chapters

  Chapter sequences involving experiences of events

Venturing to destinations  not farrying one one's 
destiny, Sometimes  one will stumble into an assortment

Confidence  and Motivation  are friends with a variety of boundaries  marinated with decisions and intuition.  Well

Emotions are comparable to roller-coaster rides peas in a pod lows and highs that fluctuates  moody and sulky oftentimes like see saws. We'll mention Life as Chapters

Clumsy

The bike that made me fall.
I could never figure out baseball.
Or basketball, or tennis, or any sport.
Anything involving some kind of court.
Coordination, I am trying to fix.
Handwriting filled with nervous habits.
A guitar I could never strum.
Those kinds of things are hard for some-
One like me.
Who could never climb a tree.
Doctors would say I’m just clumsy.
That there is no problem to see.
Maybe they’re right, so I feel shame.
That I never get invited to play any games.

count your blessings get new jobs' their lecture

do well not to breathe or call it all greed
just believe china's slow printing out need

Speculation balance
Open up to one’s imagination
What can be spoken can be written

Voices

Today I was awakened by those of media,
    Who loudly speak above all the rest.
        Conveying thoughts that they were burdened,
            By those who failed to pass their test.

They opined with a great volume,
    With vocal passion to be heard.
        As if theirs was the greatest truth,
            And any others was just absurd.

These statements were rooted to sport,
    Involving some history and their trade.
        While some were viewed as foolhardy,
            Though others were just simply made.

Yet through all the gossip and rhetoric,
    The players involved are verbally maligned.
        Where they needed a fresh new start,
            Or they were weighted without anything kind.

This began the free-agency free-for-all,
    When dollars exchange more than common sense.
        As lives and families are uprooted and moving,
            To new geographies, whether offense or defense.

Burdened by Secrets

Some secrets my soul have burdened and some I will take to my grave. But secrets involving people’s lives, have entrapped me in a cave. I am constantly worried sick and my black hair has turned grey.

Should I reveal the truth? What do I have to lose, or what good will I gain? I walk with a smile on my face, but the secrets I keep will bring others pain. 

My true spirit runs wild, to guilt I can’t be enslaved. Is it fair to leave others in darkness, without shedding light on the truth?  Or should I avoid causing harm and suppress the truth in its youth?

With chains I feel I am binded, but desperately need to break free. My heart tells me to speak, but my thoughts with my heart disagree . I wish I could break my binds and let the truth set me free.

My poor soul lives in despair, as my worry has reached it’s peek. I humbly ask the good Lord for guidance and his wisdom I do seek. If not for his mercy, I would have certainly died of fatigue.

Quest

A quest involving traveling
from the West Coast to the Midwest
to express a debt of gratitude to
individuals for their long ago
graciousness toward me. In a world
of selfishness and greed, selfless
Goodness must never go unacknowledged.

A quest to renew acquaintances
with long-ago friends and reminisce
about the childhood years we shared.
I met one of my childhood playmates.
My soul was swallowed up in an emotional
deluge as I cried and held him tight.

A quest to see places and communities
I once roamed and called my home.
The end game of this quest unveiled
emotions difficult to describe. I was
a stranger 50 years removed. So much
of what I once touched and handled
was no longer there. I wept inside.

A quest to share the presence of the
pastor who officiated our wedding. My
long-awaited desire to see once again
a hero of mine was accomplished some
2 years before his demise.

This quest that was initiated more than 15
years ago, is alive and well. Some of this
quest I'm on has been accomplished,
creating deep joy and tears of satisfaction
that are hard to describe. I am very blessed.

Moon Vacations in 2050

For those who qualify for this costly trip,
permits will be given for travel to the moon.
Friends, family, or lovers may apply as a unit
for this one and only “out-of-the-world” experience
lasting no more than one week.

Since the moon has already been colonized
by the greatest of our world’s minds,
moon vacations are comparable to 
educational fun field trips where folks
will view mankind’s unique adjustment to moon life.

To qualify, people must pass a test
involving simulation of space travel.
Both adults and children must also pass a test
determining their ability to cope with the experience.
Those with criminal records need not apply.

Having qualified, my husband and I enter daily
free lotteries within our designated small region.
With a chance of one out of a thousand each day,
we figure we will get our trip before we die.
We can’t wait to view earth from the moon!
