Monster

There is a monster in my bed and I let him in. I supplied the pillow to rest. His quiet wickedness I don't address. As he fondles my body while I lay still undressed. I don’t reciprocate his love or affection and he won’t allow me to stop it or reject it. That must be his thrill. Just begging for me to pet it. Like a dog. I like dogs. They don’t force me to love them. They just are. He has a darkness beneath the face, beyond the freckles and scars. He stays inside until he thinks you bought the bit that he is a chivalrous guy, but he has secrets to hide. As sweet and willing as he seems he is holding two sharp blades to your carotid artery. In plain sight but you choose not to see. You let the darkness in because a part of you believes you too are a dark fruit fallen from the forbidden tree. Another lying message you allowed your brain to receive. You are more than an object of affection, you are deserving. Sometimes we have to burn it all down to start anew. A cleansing of the medial prefrontal cortex erasing desires previously initiated for a few as I currently have a monster in my bed and I am the one who invited him in.

Premium MemberNasty, Brutish, and Short

It was you who initiated this relationship.
Even at its outset, I was crying.
I was your plaything,
the butt of your elaborate practical jokes.
Refusing to be transparent,
except when teasing me with illusions,
you never revealed your true meaning or purpose.
You built me up with hope and ideals,
only to chop them down and crush me.
Everything you gave to me,
you took away.
I haven't a good word to say,
and now,
in the end,
you're discarding me,
like you did all the others.
You aren't even attractive,
being as you are,
nasty, brutish, and short,
Good riddance to you,
cruel life.

Premium MemberIncomprehensible

Incomprehensible

Incomprehensible is a real thing, just believe it, and your mind will create
Create and get it. That's what you want from life, in the existence of life

Life, maybe not now, the goal may be a bit far, far from your present life
Yeah, the reality always exists, only sometimes it is hidden or forbidden

Mysterious forces control you, this is your fate, yours, but not from you
You can drive yourself with the secret knowledge of the supernatural powers

This power is forbidden; only the initiated can get it. The chosen individuals
So incomprehensible is it could be accurate, and it is that in another life

Here or there?
Where?
There
Where?
Here

So it is done

A young man had recently finished high school,
but he had not determined what to do with his life.

On a train to visit relatives in a faraway city,
He was seated with an elderly gentleman. As they
were engaged in a conversation, the young man asked
the elderly gentleman about how to decide on his
life's work.

Without hesitation, the older man responded by saying,
"There are five essential things you must realize".

1. Your PLAN must be merged with God's PLAN.
2. Your PURPOSE in life must be DEFINED.
3. Your SKILL-SET must be IDENTIFIED.
4. Your PREPARATION must be INITIATED.
5. Your PURSUIT must be ENJOINED.

The elderly gentleman went on to say that
the principles he shared were ongoing and
needing to be acknowledged and reinforced
throughout one's lifetime.

Premium MemberA Meme of a Meme of a Meme

The world today
Every thing at our fingertips
A meme factory
Consuming everything
And feeding everyone
A rapid endless stream
Satisfies the insatiable
For the briefest instant
But robs us all
Of lifetimes
Of discovery

And so we are initiated
Taken out of our mind
Into another

Stages of the path
Snakes and ladders
Life hacks
And buried treasure

Whatever it is that holds
Generates
And shares the meme
The light within
A hall of mirrors
Knows no bounds
And needs no introduction

And still the child discovers
Their way
Turning fear into familiarity
Confusion to wisdom
And the simple joy of following
A path
Older than time

To Whom It May Concern:

This means using Mr., Mrs., Ms., or other titles, followed by the individual. Pay attention to cues from the person you are addressing. If they express a preference for the better informal address, adjust accordingly. This indeed may involve using first names or other preferred titles.

Respect cultural differences, as moniker conventions can vary significantly across countries and societies. Do your research and be mindful of local norms when addressing people from diverse backgrounds.

As long as you approach the matter of addressing others with sensitivity and respect, you’re likely to earn a praise.

Before The Beginning Began

Before the dawn of time’s first breath,
Before the light of morning’s crest,
There was a Presence, pure and grand,
Who shaped the stars with His own hand.

He did not begin where beginnings unfold,
Nor fit within the bounds of old,
For He, the Prime Mover, the Uncaused Cause,
Initiated all with divine laws.

In realms where silence whispered soft,
He spoke the Word, the world aloft,
From void to life, from dark to light,
He crafted day, He fashioned night.

Before the cosmos sang its song,
Before the heavens spun along,
There was a Presence, still and deep,
A watchful eye that does not sleep.

Eternal, timeless, ever true,
He painted skies in shades of blue,
With a love that knows no end,
He called us each to be His friend.

In every heartbeat, every sigh,
In every star that lights the sky,
The echo of His voice remains,
The source of joy, the end of pains.

For God, the Alpha and the Start,
Holds every beat of every heart,
In His grace, we find our place,
In endless love, in boundless space.

Genesis 1:?, the endless tale,
Where God’s beginning does not pale;
He is the source, the start, the one,
From whom all things are born and spun.

Premium MemberTouch my life

Touch a life

Get mine. Mine is a poison, save your life, get far
Be the love of my life, get the death far, my life die
Oh, love, why are you so far away? Be a dead life

Live me in death, far from life, a kind of hellish like
Unundarstable kind of kind of mind given a fire-like
Cold and ice my life, getting around a light kind of ice

Drop my life, enjoy everything in the far–far of life
I am initiated, your life must get away – or get a vein
Accept my emotions, live in my reality – dream-like

I love you but don’t touch my life
I can be a killer of your life, a kind
No. I can’t. Just listen to my heart

Saying goodbye
Don’t touch life
No, my life
Be kind
Stop
I

Premium MemberLudwig van Beethoven

Melodic ingenuity of Ludwig van Beethoven
raised music to the realm of art, cadence woven.
A piano virtuoso, he turned into a composer unique,
initiated the romantic era in coexistent classical music.

He infused momentum in symphony,
sonorous in the ninth with harmony.
A few love affairs he had,
     but remained bachelor sad,
lived amidst failed romance in agony.

A romantic, he had a strong personality,
struggled heroically with deafness silently.
Despite affliction caused by leaded wine addiction,
composed transcendent music of designed perfection.

Premium MemberShape Shifting Soul

There is but one to whom young or old does not apply.
There is but one who remains and never changes.
There is but one who had a life before birth.
There is but one without beginning of days.

From the point of being just a thought, there
Followed a personal plan and purpose for me.
Before this, there was nothing of me in existence.
It was then that I was initiated into the mind of God.

Neither angel nor another life-form was I; neither was
I an entity nor yet a little god. Just human was I of the
Noblest kind, made to blossom and shine for God's glory.
Although mortality till now is all that I have experienced,

A new heavenly form awaits me when immortality shall be cast
Upon my finite being, and I shall then embrace eternity. This
Soul of mine, having been cleansed and redeemed by the Almighty,
Shall be forever holy; no longer subject to aging, time, or sin.

Christ died on a tree by Suzan Satchell

Christ died on a tree

Christ died on a tree.
He died for me, and I will surely praise Him.
Christ died on a tree.
He died to set me free from the bondage of sin.
Christ died on a tree.
He paid my pardon that day.
Christ died on a tree.
He has forgiven me of all my sins.
Christ died on a tree.
To Him all glory be.
Christ died on a tree.
Yes, His mercy is free.
Christ died on a tree.
He died in place of me.
Christ died on a tree.
My soul rejoices today.
Christ died on a tree.
He died for you and me.
Christ died on a tree.
His love has no end.
Christ died on a tree.
I won't let the trees praise Him.
Christ died on a tree.
Let's praise him all the way.
Christ died on a tree.
He's our hero from sin.
Christ died on a tree.
All people should sing.
Christ died on a tree.
This was no ordinary thing.
Christ died on a tree.
The tree can't praise Him, so let God's children begin to sing.
Christ died on a tree.
One day, every knee to him will bow.
Christ died on a tree.
Let the Alleluia chorus begin.
Christ died on a tree.
Let all creation give a standing ovation to our King.
Christ died on a tree, and man's redemption was initiated.

Premium MemberQuest

A quest involving traveling
from the West Coast to the Midwest
to express a debt of gratitude to
individuals for their long ago
graciousness toward me. In a world
of selfishness and greed, selfless
Goodness must never go unacknowledged.

A quest to renew acquaintances
with long-ago friends and reminisce
about the childhood years we shared.
I met one of my childhood playmates.
My soul was swallowed up in an emotional
deluge as I cried and held him tight.

A quest to see places and communities
I once roamed and called my home.
The end game of this quest unveiled
emotions difficult to describe. I was
a stranger 50 years removed. So much
of what I once touched and handled
was no longer there. I wept inside.

A quest to share the presence of the
pastor who officiated our wedding. My
long-awaited desire to see once again
a hero of mine was accomplished some
2 years before his demise.

This quest that was initiated more than 15
years ago, is alive and well. Some of this
quest I'm on has been accomplished,
creating deep joy and tears of satisfaction
that are hard to describe. I am very blessed.

An impetus purposed writes of two conceptual me; cuffed and uncuffed.

FIRST: The absolute is "London," a story riddled with facts; "Kingdom of Sweden ...," characters of notoriety and the usual drama of infidelity, innocence, loyalty, the young family, and of a kingdom's people. REALITY

The abstract is "Paris," a story riddled with fiction that writes as I go, "A Name if it be ...," character's are real, and are not, whimsy factors in, visual setting, who took the first scene becomes the main, yet secondary is the notable poet, "Poe" but the fictitious brother-in-law grasp the whole 'off-the-cuffs,' 'shot-in-the-dark'--WHOLE STORY initiated via social media's posted picture of his devotion, Lenore--the human element, Poe--infidelity.
