unnoticed
glance over shoulder
not my mess
hands are clean
no trace
played the cool
slipped away
not owning up
done nothing wrong
nothing to see
I'm bye bye stander
looking on
stepping away
at bay
slipping away
when no one's
looking, seeing
it don't matter
to anyone
don't care
if they do
I'm outside
looking in
nose is clean
good riddance
skated on by
Whew!
Ah! a clearing!
Oh No!
Is someone there?
We are up so high on the mountaintop
That the night air is cool and so clean.
Moonlit shadows slow dance in leafless drop.
Free from pollution from the city unseen.
We lay gazing in awe at Mercury, Venus, and Mars,
Wonderstruck in the clear night sky,
The first epic theater of shimmering stars.
Dancing with the North Star that is hanging high.
The sounds of the gentle breeze embracing heaven;
A fleeting flash of white light flashing close,
While the campfire sheds its soft light driven
By unforeseen, untamable freedom in repose.

Sincere Skier In the Clear
We always knew he was a sincere skier,
If snowing or had been bright and clear;
Truly devoted;
To expert promoted;
God taught him how to overcome all fear.

It is the tendency of all things in nature
to remain, undisturbed, one mind.
Oh unnatural humans!
Why must they cause ripples
in the clear midnight pond
distorting the moon’s face?
So I went to the shrink today and what did she say?
There's no need to follow up in the next few days.
I've made progress and have come to terms,
with the past, present and future at their worst.
Telling my story once again,
it'll never be hard, knowing where to begin.
I can thank everyone I've ever come across,
to never feel that I'm at a loss.
Dark days behind me I only want to see the light,
I've never been one do go down without a fight.
My mind is in the clear but should I thank the drugs?
Or the one woman I love, sent from heaven up above?
Maybe the undying the dedication for those I hold dear,
never giving in to my worst fear.
