Brown-eyed child of mine,
Your imprint is on my heart.
You were so charming,
With dimples that will never be forgotten.
Loving you - so easy;
Letting go - pure agony.

not fashioned by whim
That our souls were imbued

A Positive Imprint

In the forest and mountain mist
Animals leave a positive imprint
As nature predicts
Animals permit
Variations but allow little to infringe

on our world
with all living 
having a purpose.
Ripple cloud patches roll 
across boundless lapis tone. 
Emerald land-forms rise, water
maintaining most living organisms. 
God's wondrous living creation caress.

Do our actions create
the reality we see

My Imprint

My imprint
Startling, though it’s minor
Leaves all views
Of Autumn, inside
Feelings may differ
But alongside
Alone, the heart screams
For someone
To understand, the colors
Of bewilderment
Expressed upon, and alleviated
By, heart filled wonder
She holds it
Inside Autumn
Mother, kindly change
So I may deliver
On promises
Yet to be made
Boiling down, towards
Being alone
My imprint
Signifies all nothingness
That is left behind
Through the colors
Of autumnal grace

Imprint On My Eyes Eternity

Oh Lord My God

Imprint on my eyes eternity
So that what is to come is all that I see
Not on the fallen world surrounding me
But focused on what is yet to be
Imprint on my eyes eternity

Imprint on my ears the sweetest of song
That is sung by the saints that You have called home
May I continue to hear it in the years to come
Giving all praise to the Righteous One
Imprint on my ears the sweetest of song

Imprint on my heart all that is true
Where deep in my chest it beats only for you
Guiding me Lord in all that I do
Heavenly wants in all I value
Imprint on my heart all that is true

Imprint your shadow upon my soul
As I loosen my grasp and give You control
Where there is more love than I've ever known
In your Holy presence I'm never alone
Imprint your shadow upon my soul 

Imprint my life with the Apostle's Creed
So I may stand strong in my Christian beliefs
Where you're all that I want and all that I need
Under your wing is where I'm truly free

Soul Imprint

Enhanced restlessness greets the day.
Asks if it has some to say.
And though it's silent, providing no answer.

Perhaps that is an answer wise,
since azure skies and azure eyes
that once were the alluring dancer,

flowed dissolving into streams
taking buoyant playful dreams
over distant rock falls.

Seeming love embedded deep.
Teeming joy sculpted keep
its songs into the Soul's rock walls.

And now that Soul restless ponders
the permanence of his longings
from the dance which was not so.

The perfect love a hidden knife.
Emptiness can fill a life,
Healing more than not remembering

Then he feels the day’s wind
soothing, cooling deep in.
The only answer that  the day can show.

Charm wears a smile that seems most bright,
Imprints stir moods in any chime;
Truth has no style and yet feels right,
Ask for the good that comes in time;
Nature speaks out in subtle proof,
Urge joy to sum that inner feel;
Live fragrant shouts with vibrant truth.
Thrill fond outcomes as touch now heals,
Now sense the grip of time that swings;
Insight moves fest in jazzy jest,
Reap a fine trip in the mad fling;
Ply then your quest to ooze pure zest,
Meet moments here where presence shows,
Instinct knows cheer in afterglow.

Make moments count with joy that shows,
Yes hurls fond say in timeless space.
Grace floods the fount with light that glows,
Reach for light rays that ever trace;
Allow sure fate to flood and fill,
Note happy swirls that caress touch;
Delight clear date with fare and will.
Imprint your world as feelings nudge,
Meet mystic moods with calm good cheer;
Pick from plenty that lovely voice,
Rest with sure good where poise foils fear;
Intuit beauty to grace sweet choice,
Now reveals face in meaning grand,
Thrill then sure grace where love attends.

You know when it's real,
It never fades.
Even when you are away;
I will continue to lay on... My side.
My side.

My side.
Forever imprinted.

Imprint

I loiter now with fond employ,
Discern somehow the path of joy.


I linger here with feel and form,
Prolong good cheer with feisty norms.


I figure out the way of zest,
Passion can shout in simple jest.


I struggle then with ego's trend,
Know where and when the curved road bends.


I desire more the lines that show,
Stray thoughts galore dilute the flow.


I listen hard to find the spark,
A struggling bard seeks a new mark.


I imprint thought that surge strong feel,
Allow the plot to nudge reveal.


I simply wait for that sure flow,
Silence now baits that magic show.


I gather now the straying strains,
Feel words endow a message plain.
