I would’ve lived on
in a life composed of shades—
Black, white, and million kinds of gray.
Pulsing hearts rarely made sense
when even blood was 
the shade of cooled cement.

The Most Important Thing in Life

What is the most important Thing in Life?
Some say Love, Some say Sex, Some say Money and or riches.
Some say all manner of material things.
What is your most important Posession? 
When I ask my friends this question
One said-  a good legacy.
Some said their bank account.
Some said their faith in God.

WHAT'S IMPORTANT

I am grateful that from a time when was young…
before most of the art of my life was drawn…
I have understood what’s important to me
and what my life’s art should be focusing on

WHAT IS IMPORTANT AND WHAT IS NOT

When we arrive at the cabin in summer after it’s been winterized…
and no one has entered before us…
We often know what little hiccups the cabin has waiting for us.

This year we did know one hiccup waiting…as to the cabin we were heading.

The male weaver bird is inspired to make a beautiful nest
Female weavers choose their mate based on whose nest is the best
nests are intricate and fine, delicately and artistically made by this guy

Important Apostrophe and a Tenant who is a Mysterious Lady

It should have said St John’s - with that apostrophe!
So many omit the little mark.
How could they, when its presence or absence
gives us one meaning or the other?

A tenant within these apartments
who is a mysterious lady,
placed the absent apostrophe on that poster,
kept this nighttime act a secret, and crept away.

St John was a saint we
