The price of my soul is one I deny
As I give not the worth of it to share
Nor allow thieves hearts to pluck out its eye
For their selfish reasons as if they care
If their needs be one my soul surrenders
Then love is not a gift but is impure
Such emptiness bleeds from love's pretenders
To hide the loneliness they must obscure
Love should be given and held so tender
Never taken as if its worth is owned
To keep precious its freedom you render
And allow love's beauty to shine alone
To be so hollow with wants you must fill
To chain love to your needs, love you will kill

WITCH
There's no mis-leadin any sane of mind
to think a witch is any other kind
than one who'll lead you to your fall
and never bat an eye at all
nor care about one argument you find;
there's no good witch, unless she's burnin' fast
and leavin to here-after; in the past!
and if you think ones' spell is good
you've never fully understood,
tis from the dark she calls her spells to cast!
Her way is vile--she's got the evil eye,
and never doubt, if needs be, she can fly;
she'll lead you down the primrose path
before she lets you know her wrath;
by then the harm's been done, and you will cry or maybe even die.

Find I you, not musing in bliss of love.
In reverie crushed of silent lament,
Pray, let me hear the rant you gave thereof,
of love’s self destructing ensuing bent,
within the hall of whores, how the young doves
who were slain in the prime of their youth spent
purity and goodness without repent.
Your chastity is questioning its trove?
Perhaps you alone should decide the deed.
The time and place, flavor of the choosing.
We can put off the wedding if needs be.
But a mutual loss schemed in musing,
which fulfills a vow that you both shall feed
Shall last longer than the actual deed.
I'll meet you
Next lifetime
When everything is
In its perfect place
When all questions
Are answered
In the courts of heaven
I'll savor the moment
When dreams
Become real
When time lets go
of empty memories
And forever is filled
With magical moments to last
I'll feel you then
When the heartbeat
is steady and sure
When I have nothing else to write about
But only of us
I'll meet you there
Next lifetime.
(Note : Though unfinished, I'm glad to post this one. Wandering mind and sensitive
heart keep me warmed up to the task. Hope it doesn't take me till next life
to finish this one though...By the way, to anyone, please don't hesitate to
correct me with proper syntax and better grammar, if needs be.. :-)..thanks!

by then the harm's been done, and you will die
Tomorrow I will wake
Without the knot
And perpetual ache,
I will tidy all the corners of my brain
Littered
With loves thoughts and name,
And if love should shove me
I will play dumb,
I will say “I’m not from round here”
Give him no directions home
But send him round the houses
And feel happy on my own.
And if love should trip me
I’ll stand steady and not fall,
I will not take his number
Or wait upon his call,
I will not get sick with longing
Or walk around on air
And if love should ask for me
I’ll say I am not there.
I will change my name
And if needs be,
I will change my personality
So that
If love should Kiss me
Or turn up with a bunch of reasons
Why he missed me,
I will nothing to keep them fresh in
And I’ll give a good impression
Of a woman scorned.
If love should push me
I will put up a good fight
I will throw a million reasons
Why he’s wrong, and I am right,
And when the tug of love
Is won,
I’ll question everything I’ve done,
And if love should touch me then
In all my weary sleepy places
After seeing all my faces,
If love should touch me then
I would be a fool
To feel unmoved.
