Oh Lord, hear this prayer!
Not for my party winning.
Not for fattening my wallet.
Not for riding my hobby horse.
Not for idolizing my sacred cow.
But for your divine wisdom to prevail.
Oh Lord, hear this prayer!
Open our blinded eyes.
Open our eyes to truth.
Open our eyes to justice.
Open our eyes to goodness.
Open our eyes to humility.
Open our eyes to honor.
Open our eyes to mercy.
Open ALL of our eyes.
Let it not be too late.

The Year: Long Squandered 1999;
Frank Flynn had found my sent parceled poems ‘fine’
“They can lend themselves... to live performance”
Wherefore I mount for each surveillance….
An Atypical BBC Staff:
His signed statement A frankness not by half;
Laminated have I his bold comment:
Above My First Degree ‘A Document.’
Saw Frank, too, in My Enclosed Verses
‘ Originality of Rhythm’
Then, whoever, their action rehearses
Hasn’t The Spurious got to fathom.
And Frank had marked their “freshness of vision”
I began to crave their prompt diffusion…
Owe I Frank self-rediscovery:
A focus sidelining livery;
Strong reasons to start idolizing self
And speedily start assembling A Shelf…
The Last I should crucify of The Crew;
If he were still alive The Safest Jew.’

Anecdotes all arousing my head
breathless begging to be your best
carefully caressing your caramel skin
ditching the deep ditches of dolor
enveloping the ever-present eerie aura
faithfully faking the smile on my face
glamorizing the greatness of giving
helping the halos of doubt in my head
idolizing your individuality and independence
joking about jumbled thoughts creating a jittery feeling
kites of your kindness kindling a wind
loving every little thing you do
memorizing the many lines on your memorable face
not caring about nefarious nettles that pierce me
ornating odysseys of our past
picturing a perfect picture of us play
questioning why I ever had quixotic questions
rising ricochets of rampant tears
setting sails of the ship of our love
touching thoughts twisting in the air
utilizing every unexpected moment we have together
vacillating the value of valor
wandering eyes over the warm waters of your eyes
xenial relationships and the feel of your xilinous skin
yearning for the youngblood of yesterday
zoning into zeniths of zeal

Stars in the sky are maps of the world.
They have led many to lands never seen.
In the beginning were the Gods and,
The constellations showed us the way.
These stars or Zodiacs as many call them,
Are memorialize as the Gods and beasts,
From the heavens above.
Poseidon ruled the oceans as Aphrodite,
Gave luck and love to sailor's on their,
Fateful journey.
So oceans and stars aligned with each,
Other so that ships had maps of the world.
Praying and idolizing the Gods gave,
Them passage to the new world.

Celebrity
On that day my soul grew star struck
the astonished all-star abashing, such luck
And so I screamed, 'Is that a tree?'
I felt compelled to sniff the personalities
Eagerly, I looked for the fashionista
Engaging Ah, distinctly I was blushing
I discovered the figureheads stars all around me
Fabulousness - fabulousness - fabulousness!
The drapery diva’s dazing
It was gazing
Somewhat louder than the phrasing
Screaming, chanting, praising
Through which came musing, musing, musing
That the syncopation, 'Minds those the glazing!'
Ah, distinctly I was marveling
And the cattiness never replying
My mind always strays to paparazzi
I remember I was not myself staring
hark! In none of those movie cat calls
While all my soul within me flaring
That those the miffed megastar murmuring
That envious, envious fingerpicking, (finger pointing)
The harmonic Hollywood heading, ah! So alluring
this the incredulous intonation idolizing
Celebrity, Celebrity out there out here in front of me;

Bugle boy,
little boy blew
A lot of white noise
have got many red necks
following you
That horn of consternation
wails loud and angry
Those temper tantrum toots
dead air cryo empty
Bugle boy,
little boy blue
Your scarlet letter tone
has got the murmuring crowd
idolizing you
Porcelain notes blown vex indiscreet,
wax smoke signal coldly
Pigeon drop carrier pox
gets Oval puffery sent by a trill tweet
Bugle boy,
little boy blew
Play the dirge Taps for democracy,
as a jingo strident blare
deafly accrue
Moody move the retrograde ears
with vacuum suction ease
Orchestrate billowy primal fears
on a nether octave breeze
Bugle boy,
a portrait of scorn
paints your little horn blue
Bugle boy,
so indigo dark is the sound
spreading ‘cross the pestilent plain
Fallow be yore golden amber grain,
as rasp bury berate pain
drips hollow noise of purple reign —
Void lips echoes disdain
Bugle boy,
little boy blew
A hateful horn of pulse penury
has cast hope askew
Bugle boy,
little boy blew
Seeds of doubt
upon the dying winds of liberty

Italian boys go through a mafia stage
idolizing gangsters and their lead ripping ways
dreaming in blood money ,wearing a pair of snake eyes
diamond studded vixens flashing pearl glazed thighs.
Scar faces -speak easy whisky- drowning out the sun
nights vibrating with the chatter of dancing tommy guns
one step behind the reaper, one ahead of the cherries
beneath marble tombstones a code of honor is buried.
but
Italian boys soon realize they haven't got the balls
to live life on a knife edge, go toe to toe with the law
I was no different and settled into a cage of mundane
a nine to five carousel where all stallions are chained.

He, the almighty, is ubiquitous, an omnipresent force
Lilith, the first woman – made from Earth - defied him.
He, the almighty, held no empathy for beings like her.
Lilith, the first wife of the first man – despised him.
He, the Almighty, came to know fear –
The extraordinary virility of her witchcraft troubled him.
Lilith, the martyr – deserted the splendors of Eden
Her buffoonery - her egotism disgusted him
He cursed her, “One hundred of her children would die every day.”
Her agony - her depression thrilled him
Lilith – the first wife, the first woman – lost in history
He, the Almighty – deceived the gullible into idolizing the spectacular him
Lilith, the queen, infamously a demon, covertly a Queen.
Eureka! She is the woman of all women and the enemy of him!

I wish I never self-harmed because now all people do is stare
Imagine if my parents cared and never put me in foster care
I often wish that they never started drinking
This is just some of my wishful thinking
If I had it my way then everyone would be genuine
I'd get to meet my idols Cristiano Ronaldo and Eminem
I'd be scar free and depression wouldn't be in my life
Ariana Grande would be my wife
I've learned sometimes you need to fall to later get a better grip
If I could go back, me and my Ex would have never split
I wouldn't bring my dad back because he wasn't there for me in the first place
In 14 years I didn't get a hug, so bringing him back from the dead would be a waste
I wouldn't need to write poetry in order to survive
I'd be ready to commit and most my relationships wouldn't last for a few nights
I wouldn't have anxiety and depression, and I wouldn't be Bipolar
I'd be free from my past and I'd have complete closure
Nas and Eminem would say they like the rhymes I'm inking
People would judge people based on their hearts not looks
Girls would stop idolizing the Kardashian's and start reading books
This is just some of my wishful thinking

Why are you mesmerized by her charm,
If the most beautiful and charming man is GOD?
Why are you proud of somebody's wit or
So boastful of your intelligence if the most genius
Of all the geniuses keeps His humility?
Why are you so amazed by the common artists' work
If the man with greatest masterpiece is God?
Why are you being carried by a singer's voice and
The earthly things in songs,
If in God's words you are being healed and saved?
Why you keep on worshipping saints, mountains ,
Woods and stones if the miracles you receive
Are from God?Why them instead of Him.
Why you let children believe and idolize cartoon
and movie heroes?
Are there some heroes made
more heroic acts than Christ?
Have you ever asked yourself,
"am I idolizing the wrong man?"

Never Remembered When Realizing
Never remembered when realizing,
Trump we actually started idolizing;
What he does next will never guess;
He himself has made things a mess;
Carefully him we are always eyeing.
Along with orange hair, small hands,
puckered lips and lizard skin. My son
calls it serpent skin.

Earth's tidal river day
on universal salvation display
This indigenously wise place
New England conventional space
ebbs without yesterday
flows within today
Building forest skills
industriously clear-cutting slack
of co-infested character
Puritan souls
submerging and swelling
wild native nakedness enslaved
Merged with dark
thick-skinning
self-immolating
magic aboriginal music roots
satiating muse suffered bliss
Yankee hard hearts
confederating comfort's freedoms
idolizing golden age
peaceful privileged ideation
Integrity
accessible to each secular body's intricacy
and all mind full
empty sacred elegance
Empowering fertile core soul passion
swollen fecund pastures
swamping pleasant birdsong light
EarthTribe's salvific natural spirits
of surf-songed sight.

When droplets let your face
to smile at you
opening the new day
around new hopes
idolizing glory days
shall happen again
you dream
When wet grounds after the rain
you walk through on bare feet
nostalgic past keeps alive in memory
be the mirror of
present days
Opening the curtain around your bed room
waving goodbye
all sadly sad nights
in the morning
in the morning

Why do we know what’s the truth,
but still believe in lies
To be righteous is all of common sense,
but no one ever tries
I’m guilty to the words of the Lord,
man made laws I do not abide
Who is to judge another‘s experiences?
Not you, most definitely not I
First I say thank you,
please forgive is my daily request
Ask for guidance and understanding
recognize how I’ve truly been blessed
Made of flesh, blood & bones,
all my sins I must confess
Unselfish and very merciful,
what a feeling, being loved by the best
We lie to deceive, chastise just to cause pain
steal, kill, lust and envy,
With no shame, living in vain
Idolizing false figures, easily led by the masses
Living in hell on earth, soon to all be ashes
I know nothing at all, still find myself asking
exactly who am I?
Whatever I know not now,
he’ll teach me over time
Nobody’s perfect, we find our selves seeking for truth in all the wrong places
How can sinister smiles be on Gods faces?…..

Hello, all my fuzzy friends
Embarrassed, but I gottah tell you that cats and dogs are my buddies
Loving my family and friends...so...much
Live life to the fullest and to the best of your ability
Ohhh...what a world full of positivity and negativity...what a messed-up world
Krazy kool kats drive me nuts
Idolizing their cuteness and their noisiness
Totally tricked by their fickle ways
Trained to make an excuse that it's "one of those days"
Yeah...my pets are the best and cutest!
