Hungry Poems

Premium MemberHungry Bear

Playful mood that changes from stomach's growl,
He lumbers from the food-scarce forest hill,
Where naught is found, not fruit nor wing of fowl.
The shop in town he enters to a chill,
Where's found iced cream. He stuffs until his fill.
A bear, a meal, and a mood quite cheery,
His favored flavor eaten? STRAWBERRY.

Circus Squeals

I am a circus freak—

collar popped,
polka dots.

You throw apples
and boo;
I hate all of
you too.

I’m not bothered,
though.

One day, I’ll
start a revolution
and set fire to this
whole place.

You see me as a freak;
I see myself as one of
you elites—

three-piece suit,
walking cane.

I’m going to
dismantle
the aristocracy
internally.

Join the cause
or die.

Premium Member Too Precious to Contain

Perfume of tremendous worth,
Emptied from an airtight jar,
Left a sweet fragrance in the air,
As roses on a spring morn.

Promptly brought a harsh rebuke,
Labeled as a wasteful sin.
Others had an insightful view,
It’s too precious to contain.

Basic goods must always flow,
Not withheld with selfish greed,
By the “haves” from the “have not” poor
We must respond to their need.

If

“Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,—
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.”
? William Shakespeare Macbeth The Witches brew

Premium MemberThe Ravishing Grimness

Veil of midnight, shroud of ache,
A hollow heart begins to wake,
Unfed, unwhole, in shadow curled,
Craving life within this world.

A wraith unseen yet bound to thirst,
The agony—a wicked curse,
Flesh untouched but essence bled,
Hungering for what is shed.

Through trembling dark and

Hungry

I did not hesitate. My blade, ever true, cut through the air toward his heart. But before it struck, he spoke a word I did not understand. The world twisted as if the very air had been wrung like a cloth soaked in water. A roar filled my ears, not the

Your hands are silent executioners, each finger a hungry guillotine,
Let them glide over me slowly, like penance flowing as a slow river,
Let them cut every last fragment of restraint that still binds us,
This is not seduction, but a butchery of desires hidden beneath the skin.
I want your breath to be a burning pyre in the

Premium MemberHungry

A gnawing void, a hungry plea,
A craving deep, I cannot see.
My belly rumbles, a mournful sound,
A phantom hunger, all around.

Oh, man, can you feel this ache so deep?
This yearning hunger, I cannot sleep.
A phantom feast, a buffet's call,
My empty stomach, standing tall.

The wall before me, a tempting sight,
A grand illusion, bathed in light.
Not just any

The Hungry Dog

I was born into a world that does not see me.
My body tells the story of absence;
The hollow of my stomach,
The jagged outline of my ribs,
My fur, patchy and damp.
I learned quickly that to want is to be ignored,
And to ache is to exist.

As a puppy, I thought someone might see me.
I thought if I

Premium MemberGrub Like Shaggy and Scooby

I want to grub like Shaggy and Scooby,
To feast like kings—no morsel too unruly.
A towering buffet, a calorie spree,
A symphony of snacks calling to me.

Imagine the plates they so bravely heap,
Mountains of munchies, a flavor-rich sweep.
Hot dogs stacked in a gravity-defying feat,
Where every bite spells “legendary eat!”

Pizzas with toppings that stretch the surreal,
Taco shells cracking
