 (1993)

I want to grub like Shaggy and Scooby, To feast like kings—no morsel too unruly. A towering buffet, a calorie spree, A symphony of snacks calling to me. Imagine the plates they so bravely heap, Mountains of munchies, a flavor-rich sweep. Hot dogs stacked in a gravity-defying feat, Where every bite spells “legendary eat!” Pizzas with toppings that stretch the surreal, Taco shells cracking for every meal. Donuts in dozens, all perfectly glazed, Their appetite leaves the onlookers amazed. Oh, the wonder of bottomless fries, Burgers so big they defy the skies. Spaghetti tangled in a comedy show, With meatballs bouncing wherever they go. To snack without stopping, to eat without guilt, A castle of cookies by endless milk built. Every bite a festival, every meal a joy, Shaggy and Scooby, the ultimate ploy. But alas, I stay in my kitchen light, Face to face with a portion that’s slight. A sandwich half-hearted, a salad of greens, Far from the feasts of my Scooby-like dreams. Still, in my spirit, I will let it flow, As Scooby snacks dancing in the moon’s light glow. Though my fridge holds limits, my heart holds none, I’ll grub like a hero—just for the fun!
