Dear Sara, your poem beautifully captures the warmth and nostalgia of a bygone era. The image of your grandparents' home in Springfield, Missouri, circa 1955, is vividly brought to life. The phrase 'Lavender memories linger' is especially evocative, conjuring up a sense of gentle, fading beauty. Lovely! :)
