Moulin Rouge Sunflower Smiles: Learn Vlad Put-In

O sunflower Helianthus thy Name
The internet for Writing, strange game
My love for Helianthus Annuus, came
With Morning Muse. then CONFUSE-ion
Not on the site, lost in cyberspace
Meanwhile new cultivars of sunflower
Are amazingly done in the US
God be praised for flowers, that give and give
Yes, an annual, dies when cold, but reseeds
Itself -- feeds us good seed-- Glory to God
Who made each & every flower, with variety
Only Russia today, seems to hate variation
But we learn from Hitler & Putin, never PUT IN
This universe whatever lies in your heart
Learn from Nature (Jesus, too) the giving ART

Summer Valentine

In splendor of sun, stands tall Helianthus
a green patch glimmers enamored in gold.
resplendent rays drizzle bright yellow beams
in harsh hot flames, cherubic petals unfold.

A cup of sunlight brewing honey and lemon
full of zing, gaudy smiles of radiant beauty
In kindred spirit, florets track East to West
revolving a luminous, is it love or loyal duty?

In ancient times, lived the Sun God Apollo,
a water nymph Clytie fell in love profound
the man with golden hair cast her in a spell
and her eyes adored him in passion astound.

But Apollo was in love with Daphne,
the beautiful daughter of a water God.
Unrequited, unnoticed went Clyties love
she kept looking for Sun in paths she trod.

Eventually she turned to a slender sunflower
orbiting her love, a bride waits for sunshine.
Trail of a broken heart, never leaves her soul,
shriveled head wilts in her summer Valentine.

Yellow Flowers of the Tree

Divine children of God ye,
Yellow flowers of the tree
Fain blooming, I see,
Happy flowers of the tree
Manifesting the beauty of lovely winter,
Beautiful flowers of the tree
Raining lovingly on God,
Lovely flowers of the tree
Yellow like Helianthus,
Yellow flowers of the tree
Want to meet the golden sun?
Sunny flowers of the tree
A lesson to humanity in a cute way,
Oh! Divine flowers of the tree

Sunflower: Personification of my Seed

Late spring I was planted a seed into the harden ground shell
Like a paw bearer laid me to rest I'm tired of this dirt
Cased covered in soil with brother seedlings round hurt
I shouted simultaneously spouted mind crying please let me out
Mom never told me while I was a small seed why people would eat me
Bees and lepidopterans pollinate my larvae so annually
I will face and tilt my body to East when I am matured
I need to shave because I have a hairy stem help me escape
Family symmetry based on Fibonacci Golden angels
Blushing cause my red florets I'm helianthus the Sunflower

Helios and Clytie

Sunflower, accursed, to stand and stare,
And Clytie was her fair begotten name.
Cursed she was to gaze into the sun's glare.

Leucothea was Helios' lady fair,
A love fallen prey to jealousy's game.
Sunflower, accursed, to stand and stare.

Helios' love was lust she did declare,
Harlot - did Clytie Leucothea defame.
Cursed she was to gaze into the sun's glare.

Leucothea burned at a stake in a flare.
Clytie pined for Helios without shame.
Sunflower accursed to stand and stare.

Angered Helios at this state , unfair,
Turned her to flower - Helianthus fame .
Cursed she was to gaze into the sun's glare.

She stares at the sun with no one to care,
At night she weeps with her remorse laid bare.
Sunflower, accursed, to stand and stare,
Cursed she was to gaze into the sun's glare.

Helianthus Annuus

Climatic scream of silence
Always shinning in the shower
Lightning and thunder don’t make you cower

Bits of hull in my teeth
Eating seeds for about an hour
Sing the praise of the sunflower

Yellow and black song sung
A testimony to your Creator’s awesome power
Standing aloft your bed you tower

Premium MemberBobcat's Hunger

Needing desperately my time on the porch
The cloudy days have gloomily encroached
Upon my emotions so that I could cry the tears
Equal to the rain that is pouring down around

The sun has already risen
Hidden behind dark gray
Blanketed clouds weeping
Moisture on all the ground

The only gold to be seen
Is the golden Helianthus Maximilianii
Prairie Sunflower that blooms
It definitely has to be the sun
On a day like today

The trees are holding
So much moisture
That the leaves weep
Onto the saturated ground

Is God weeping
Over the whole world
From his throne
In the third heaven above

So much is wrong
Moral decay
People lost for what
Life is all about

People feeling that
There is no hope
That all is lost
Financial ruin for many

The rooster still crows
And the crows are
Crawing from a different
Locality far away

There are dogs
Barking down
Across the creek
Where the fighting roosters stay

Like there is something
Wrong down there
Maybe a hungry Bobcat
Or wild dog herd

Responsibility calls
Need to go and leave
The peace and comfort
Come down from the mountain
