Premium Member my 8 year old son in the back of the car said, 'Dad, i love Elvis Presley'

it happened as we rounded the roundabout
which is supposed to happen
are you lonesome tonight? (laughing version)

my daughter has been yelling at the smart speaker
to play a katy perry song the speaker has never heard of
for the last forty minutes
she bops down the street
imitating the bass from rick james'
super freak

the stress management course advises to
cultivate a non-work identity
in which i have decided to be Jim Morrison

i've been standing outside the back door.
i need to develop authentic communication skills,
confidence,
and a depth of knowledge

pursue travel, and athletic challenges or
a mental health professional

i have been advised to carry a notebook
and wear the leather jacket
and grow my hair
two out of those three i can do

My Journey in abroad: From health professional to environmental cleaners

I don't lament
Rather I feel pleased
Learning from one new things
While leaving the task I know well

Brain once occupied by theories, question and researches
Converted into beautiful way of cleaning
Natures and environment

Welcoming every season with calm and compuser
I now get idea which month trees loose leaves and branches in UK

AC to Adlerian psychology
We are responsible for our life
So I think I choose this work myself

Sometimes ranting and raving emotion flows
I quivered myself inside duvet
My heart says don't lament as this job contains best payment

Taking the trolley from east to west
Cleaning heart of king cross
Granary square is the best
With lots of fountain and children park

Well by career shifting it feels pain
But this changes welcome
whole ways of viewing things
I am grateful to god what I get

Premium Member -She

She never had a male role model
Or male figure in her in childhood
From a family of five females
Women is what she understood

She was a sweet girl
Quite gullible and naive
As she grew into womanhood
Male interactions were not well received

She encountered inappropriate behaviours
A health professional did her wrong
She was fearful of the opposite sex
Until you came along

You were kind and you were funny
So safe she felt with you
A good and decent honest man
Restoring her faith and fearful view

You have loved her a lifetime
She has loved you
You are the perfect role model
The one she never knew …..

A Narrative Poem About Anxiety

I remember when I had anxiety,
I'd try to act normal around friends and family
I’d put on a smile and pretend like
I was the happy Taimee they all knew

No one knew the pain I felt inside
How my body was being
Bombarded by strange bodily symptoms
How talking to people made me nervous

How driving on highways scared me
How I’d worry I might have some serious medical condition.
How I’d a feeling of dread about the future
How I’d feel empty each night wondering where was my life

And all the other worries which
Were running through my mind
A few times, I told some family and friends
What I was going through, yet I always regretted it

The usual reply was I should join a club, go to a gym
Or, worse still, to stop feeling sorry for myself
And pull myself together
You and I both know it’s not so easy

This is one of the worst parts of suffering from anxiety
No one understands you
Not your friends, your partner, your family…
Even when you go to a health professional

You still don’t get the understanding you’re looking for
The fact is, unless they’ve suffered themselves
 No one will understand what
You are going through or been through
