Premium MemberJade Stone's :::Confidence:::

She laughs, she cries, then she sighs
brimming with confidence,
the pain within she denies
Her heart thumps then skips a beat,
as she reads poetry, a taste of bittersweet
In quiets empty moments, a hole
remains deeply in the soul,
an abyss, an unmeasured chasm
It’s the space p~o~e~t~r~y fills
Her personal dead poet society
stirring her deepest passions
awakens her dormant desire
her quest not for fame or fortune
but for the elusive treasure of inner piece
Her confidence misconstrues itself for vanity perhaps

sureness
positiveness
conviction
certitude
reliability
assuredness
assurance
validity
conclusiveness
authoritativeness
truth
factualness
self-possession
nerve
poise
aplomb
presence of mind
phlegm
level-headedness
cool-headedness
firmness
courage
boldness
mettle
fortitude
belief in oneself
faith in oneself ...
                           …
                              …
...are all just more vanities?
free-spirited or lost soul?
do both make one another?
the vanity of human wishes?

work in progress…

Revival

Revival

We humans wept for the revival
Nothing nor time can be at arrival
Yet, the redshift of revival was horrendous
It often creeps the dream of wondrous
Sadly, shirked the throbbing drums
Yes! The soreness after the bubblegum
Thumps that messaged the wounds
Click away the silly sticky bounds
We, humans, sobbed for the curves
And constantly impairs the scattered nerves

Universe testified the forbearance
By passing phases of physical sufferance
We, humans, unable to speculate the fade
They rolled the unexpected blades
Blades that cut and curse the embrace
And we kept shouting with space to trace
Time, clicks away the antidote for pure
And eventually vanishes the miles of endure
We, vulnerable, we, vulnerable
We, vulnerable, we, vulnerable

Newness wakes after a decade
Decade of dullness and bone headedness
Create the covering cure and activeness
Yet, unwrap the belief, yet unwrap the belief
We, vulnerable, we, vulnerable.

Jasmin

Gleaming stars in a Chinese percaline teacup
around its rim golden dragons loop the loop.

If the vessel had been larger
a trillion lights could have shone
from that Jasmin infusion.

A young man could get drunk,
a mere youth could lose his mind
looking upon the delicate hand
that offers it to him.

Green orient eyes smile
knowing the spell
will work then and yet later.

A much older man
drinks tea from a mug,
a memory still engendering
a fragrant light-headedness.

Premium MemberShout At the Wind

The young dream of a perfect world, atlas it is not to be.
The old look back at what could have been to only realize
it has always been the way it is supposed to be. Do dreams die
in rage or softly fade with age. The world turns around and around.
Dreamers come dreamers go and this world keeps spinning.
With life find love or let love find you. Two souls can dream together.
comfort one another and awake knowing dreaming the dream is half the fun.
Hear the voices of the new generation, in their music, art, culture.
Do you ever hear the echoes of a young dreamer of long ago? Advice falls on
stubborn ears, pig-headedness who can do it right this time, they are better,
they are special, they know more than those of before. Smile as you see your self, bite your tongue and any doubts or fears. Shout at the wind as it
blows back at you and hears those dreams of yesterday again.
Those same dreams still
circling this big spinning world so another young generation can slowly
realize it has always been the way it is supposed to be.
Shout at the wind, shouting
at the winds of time.

My Heart Desire

Ability to decipher
Beauty beyond imagination
Charismatic and cool headedness of yours
Dedication to things you do
Elephantic nature of your imagination
Foundation of your beauty that is natural
Gorgeousness of your physique
Happiness that comes with your company
Intellectual sagacity of yours that is incomparable
Jack of all trade master of all that you are
Knowledge of your profession you display that amazes me
Loving you is so going to be amazing
Most especially,
Nurse in the making that you are
Of which you are bound to be caring
Please listen to your heart and pick the clarion call of my heart
Queuing is not my thing
Religion might want to serve as an obstacle
Surely my heart beats for you
Truly I am in love with you
Understanding you is my heart desire
Valentines I want to celebrate with you
With you I believe Love will be fun
Xylophone I will make sure is played at our dates
Your company I want to crave for
Zoning you in my love city I want to do
For you are my heart desire.

Ana Pt 2

Our love continued to grow as the warm gaze of summer came forth, shinning light on the skeletons we’d became, bodies ravaged from the merciless vulture that was and is the winter. No rays from the sunlight, so brilliant they hurt my eyes, could provide the warmth her love provided. The bones that tried to cut through my skin were the love-marks of our late night romps, the constant light-headedness I took for euphoric ecstasy, was really my body dying.

In the dawning light of the summer…I began to see what I had become. What both she and I had done. I was no longer a girl, I was no longer a human being. I was a breath of bones, so thin you had to squint one eye and shut the other to notice me. “What have I done?” I screamed to myself as I stared at what use to be a body in the length of a one-way mirror. She came to me then, tried to tempt me back into her arms, but I no longer saw the beauty in her skeletal form. I could only see how her love had raped and pillaged me. And so I turned her away and said goodbye…

Silence

( SILENCE )

As darkness nears
I feel the bitter air
Invade my lungs.

My breathing labors
As the night's chill
Sucks the life out of me.

Slowly, I drift away
Light-headedness fills my soul
My every move a mechanical dream.

I am fading fast
Fading into a world of blackness
A world of death.

Haunting laughter echoes in my ears
Ringing louder, louder still
I cover my ears - the pain too intense.

I let out a scream,
Panicked and shrill,
But the silence engulfed in and nobody heard.

Premium MemberWhat Is That Thing Called

What do I feel like writing?
Oh yeah, I am going to write about special feeling called love
Is it love?
You don’t know what to call it
But you know that you are happy when you see that person
You eyes lit up like a firecracker
You tummy is dancing a little dance
All butterflies are flying circling your inside
You barely breathe
You hold your breath without you knowing it
Your stomach feels extremely tight
What is up?
Are you not in control of your body?
Ha, not by the slightest
You feel rushes of giddiness
For no reason
Oh yeah
You are totally in a floated state
Butterflies all around
And the funny thing is
It goes on forever
It won’t stop
You may have to call a paramedic
For a remedy cure
If there is one
A state of light-headedness
Jovial and oblivion
To things around you
Ahh you’d better not be driving
You can hardly manage yourself
Okay I think I barely touch the surface
But you know I am trying
I'm barely able to handle it
I am hyperventilating
And I like it, lol

Sanity

To limit one's intelligence,
only to gain level headedness.
to question one's pride,
only to hide what is unright.
N'sync with insanity,
time only borrowed by your intellect.
Mere hints of suggestions and gestures,
of your world that is not too sure.
lies to conceal the freak in you:
bounded by the seclusion and anger,
across a horizon of shame and guilt,
a crossroad of good and evil,
never turning back on my own thoughts,
trying not to loose myself on a loosing streak,
fear of ending up on a dead end road.
trying to convince myself:
I'm still headed straight to the right direction!

Emotions

Emotions up and down,
spinning out of control,
light headedness,
fuzziness,
all of a dither,
my mind can't deliver,
such emotive thoughts.

Try to shut away in a box in my head,
they are not in charge of me,
I am in charge of them,
keeping busy is the answer,
for a mediocre happy ever after,
pretty thoughts of a life after,
but for now, living for the day I can live the life i'm after.

The New Dawn

I’ve seen the dawn above a mountain
Lights up like a child with blue eyes.
I’ve seen the dawn-
I’ve seen the dawn where life well’s up endlessly.

With the beauty of old age and gray headedness,
I can tell the tale of a sunrise and sunset

I am an old lady and wise with times
I’ve challenge many difficulties and come alive
Through the passage of times and seasons,
I can only laugh against the pain.

I know the languages of heartbreaks, panics, struggles and troubles.
I’ve tasted the lost of children, mansions, passions and visions.
I’ve seen great kingdoms rise and watch them helplessly run down through the valley of no return.

I am an old lady now; an old lady with worth of experience
I’ve seen the dawn above a mountain
Lights up like a child with blue eyes.
I’ve seen the dawn-
I’ve seen the dawn where live wells up endlessly.

Evening Conversations

Old friends you come to reminisce and share
The stories of better life, another day compared
O I have question to settle matters here
Before I pack and go again - something here is seared.
Did you too
As a child with gawking eyes and gangling dreams
Pursue
Through silence the rights of adulthood?
Did you too
Long for the day when we would be the only law
And work would only be play?
O what giddy headedness! Why were so vain?

For here we come to this place
Almost the end of what we longed to embrace
And here this hollow sense of something missing still
Did we do something wrong
Or was this there all along
Was it irrevocably fixed
A gene in their actions, some invisible mix
In all the years before their years
In the legacy's spiralling stairs
The sun is set
And we cannot alter it.

O children who long to leave
The world of innocence ... beware
For we too are children
Carriers of the Sisyphusean dream
The web only glitters ... but mortal is our scream
I would have taken all of Jacob's ladder
Where only angels climb
O but so gullible we are
We seek to to catch
When wise men follow stars.

One of Many Loves.....

Smooth talker he can be but genuine he is
Talented more than any other I know
Endured more than any child should have to ever endure
Vexed he is because all he wants to do is come home
Ever ready to defend his family more important his mother
Needs to know that he is loved beyond all imaginings

Makes mistakes but can learn his lesson much more easily than others now
Imaginative and inventive, he can always think his way out of anything
Creativity has gotten through where nothing else has
Hot headedness he has learned to control...to a point
Always brings special joy to me as he is my son
Every day I want him back home where he truly belongs
Lost without my young man here...he is truly missed and loved
