Destination unknown for her trip
Unfortunate it is only a proverbial ride
Too many details am I forced to skip
Such as who's Harriet and why not a ship
if you knew the first the second would abide
Destination unknown for her trip
Still all the premises don't touch the lip
You're left to questions remaining aside
For too many details am I forced to skip
If Harriet is punishment I'll take a whip
If she's shame then I have no pride
Destination unknown for her trip
No she's like a fine wine I'd slowly sip
Her body a castle, her soul, the queen inside
Too many details am I forced to skip
From my mind to yours these words slip
Nothing about Harriet am I able to hide
Destination unknown for her trip
Way too many details am I forced to skip
Harriet Honey Bunch met Henry at a Honky-Tonk
By accidentally giving back of his neck a tiny bonk
Did you see her flirty, flamboyant ways? Asked Connie Conk
Fine by us said winsome Willie Wonk and decent Donnie Donk
Oh Harriet,
a treasured heart lost to time.
Such promise,
heralded for gifted child.
Tender age,
loves pull guided her astray.
No blame,
for who does not crave happiness.
Joyous moment,
glanced upon and short lived.
Her heart,
abandoned and broken.
Hope lost,
as lover moves on.
Solace desired,
but only lustful arms found.
With child,
in hiding she remains.
Sadness burdens,
with heart and mind overwhelmed.
Words dispatched,
her last affection declared.
Lonely morning,
she walks to the serpentine.
Tearful eyes,
she throws herself to the bitter waters.
Her story concluded,
with love and loss,
societies glaring eyes,
a treasured heart lost to time.

HANDMADE FROM (the genes of) BOYCE AND HARRIET HARRIS
(poetry my atypical mode at introducing myself).
How apropos and divine to stumble (merely by happenstance) across a chance to claim my (virtual) fifteen minute fragments of fame just in the click and nick of time.
Although gainfully unemployed (do to a series of unfortunate events that now finds me receiving social security disability), I can still vividly visualize utter despair and vouchsafe to acquire the requisite trappings emblematic of psychic misfortune.
Indelible, permanent and unfading abysmal damaging domestic dynamics got etched deep upon the memory of this erstwhile individual! The general gist in the form of quick brush strokes (namely written) of psychologically traumatizing recollection now follows.
I can attest to malevolent mean-spirited objections by my father (and late mother) in regard to my grossly unacceptable attire, deportment and work ethic.
Did Harriet Tubman ever cry?
Did she ever bow down on her knees
And ask God, Why?
Or even get upset because she couldn’t read
No, she only stood up and gave a speech
Did Harriet Tubman ever weep?
Did she ever scream when she had that bullet wedged in her teeth?
Or was the moment too mundane
When the doctor dug his scalpel through her determined brain
No, the water dripping down her face
Is only sweat from saving slaves
We all need that “Harriet Tubman kind of faith”
Did Harriet Tubman ever refuse the call?
Decide she will surrender freedom after all?
Or did she grab a pistol and dared to shoot
At anyone who leaked her sacred route
Though her fate seemed dim
And the odds were against her
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer”
For those who need hope or encouragement
Please never forget
to stand tall
and summon Harriet Tubman’s strength
Harriet has Beckwith-wiedemann syndrome,
Something which shortened her right side,
And she also his difficulty with blood sugar,
But she’s a dog lover of Baya Bear and Bow.
Born in Huntington which is a market town,
In Cambridgeshire, on the 6th of May 1991,
She’s good at the breaststroke and medley,
Which she practices in Peterborough’s club.
Harriet splashed onto the swimming scene,
In 2010 at the World Champs, Netherlands,
Where she won the silver individual medley,
And the gold for the SB9 100m breaststroke.
She suffered from illness in the year of 2011,
But at the British Champs in 2012 in London,
She won the gold for the 100m breaststroke,
So at the 2012 Paras Harriet won the bronze.
In French Montreal in Canada land in 2013,
Harriet won the silver breaststroke class SB9,
And then in Portugal’s Funchal on Madeira,
She won gold medley relay and silver 4x100.
This sent Harriet to Rio where she excelled,
To win silver in the 100m breaststroke again,
In a time of 1:16.87 minutes to tail behind,
Gold medalist Lisa Kruger, the Netherlands.

Harriet Tubman helped free slaves
Determination gave her the strength
To break the law
And have slaves crawl
Through tunnels to make their escape -
She risked her life every day
