Harmful Poems | Examples

you promised

You promised me the days we sung and cooked and danced, painting each others nails would come back someday

You promised me, so i sat restless, watching the pass of everyday, pass me by, memories souring as the clock ran

Harmless illusions wipe away as i realize what i had been surrounded by, with each spent sunday i realised i was lucky when you ran away

Harmful children come from hazardus playgrounds,i was raised to bring pain, i know a million ways that i can

You promised, something so insignificant, you are someone who should never have been given a second thought, so why do i feel this way

You promised something so small, years later something that didn’t matter yet my mind still paints you a con-man

Harmless was never really a word i’d have thought to use for you unless in a singular action like today

Harmful even when you don’t realise i guess your the same in one way, you were a liar before our relationship began

THE STRANGE ROCKY HILL

There was a rocky hill where I thought could rest myself,
But when I sat there; saw people as small as elves,
The sky was dark over there,
All that the self knew was- the place where I sat wasn't fair.

But my tired feet still forced me ,
The bats flew above my head with an attitude of fully being free,
The trees nearby shook its leaves and turned gray and dried,
And I felt like being on a pan to get fried.

I could hear a lady's weep,
And could also see a blood-covered sheep,
Must be a sheep for sacrifice,
All I knew was my palms were getting colder than a cube of ice!

Suddenly my breath too stopped,
But I was still alive,
And felt I did not need to breathe anymore,
And also that the whole world was a cruel battledore!

- THE STRANGE ROCKY HILL WHICH WAS TOO SCARY TO SIT AND TAKE REST FOR SOMETIME, AFTER A LONG AND TIRING WALK IN A DENSE-FOREST!!!

Harmful Futures

It started from children living in disharmony.

Parents living with fear and urgency.

Their siblings leave them behind to seek their own legacy.

The siblings that were their only friends leaving them helplessly.

And as their siblings are driven to pursue-

There is a new need for people like me- years of helplessness to undo.

Giles owned his farm
He did not do anyone harm.
Until a fierce hurricane,
And thunderous rain,
Gave Farmer Giles cause for alarm.

No Harmful Wildlife

>center>NO HARMFUL WILDLIFE

A spell in the country would do you good,
Said Doctor Rogers MB sternly,
Wagging a finger to emphasise the point.
Get away from the diesel fumes
And millions spreading germs.
Trust me, I’m a doctor.
I trusted him, poor fool,
Packed a bag and booked on-line
At a farmhouse advertising,
“Peaceful weekend breaks”

On Saturday, with sturdy boots and a picnic
And my guide to flora a fauna,
(No harmful wildlife in the area)
I roamed the tranquil countryside.
In the midst of a field of sweet clover,
A bee, taking exception to my sturdy boots,
Deposited its sting.
First aid kit devoid of anti-histamine.
I sat on a hillock to partake of lunch.
The ants in the hill were red ones

No harmful wildlife in the area?
Tell that to the bull in the next field.
Who also took exception
And to the rabbits whose burrow I tripped in
While trying to escape.
Tell it to the mosquitoes,
Who seemed to like me.
On Sunday I limped home a day early.
Thank you Doctor Rogers MB.
I’ll take my chance with coronavirus

Premium Member How Harmful Can She Be

They get out of cars and adjust their clothes.
Some wearing a yard or two of makeup.
Others in pajamas or jogging suits.
It is Saturday morning
The mall has just opened.
I sit in the parking lot watching.
Knowing what danger they would be in
If I was a killer
That unassuming sweet little old lady?
Sure I went to see what she wanted.
How harmful could she be?
I gnash my teeth, smelling their blood.
They walk past in their pajamas,
Not realizing my dog nose can smell their toothpaste.

The Realm of Harmful Realism

During my sleep no sound is powerful enough
to awaken me from the realm of harmful realism.

Hours roll and not being aware of a temporary death,
every past life's event I relive with bitterness and regret.

I flint as an airplane piercing misty and thick clouds,
not wanting to be trapped in any hypnotic state.

People who harmed me suddenly come into view,
some are dead and still haunt me with their laugh.

I sweat as grass on a humid day, I terribly shake and fall out
of the bed...realizing I've left the realm of harmful realism.

Premium Member Harmful Touch

Damaged by just your harmful touch
I lie in pain and anguish from you

I want you to see the hurt felt
That which is caused by you, only you

You’re surely not allowed with me
Never, not ever, not anymore
