To sit by the river,
The sun on my face,
Transports me at once
To a happier place.

I know that so many 
Would never agree,
But the city (and river!)
Are perfect for me.

The view isn’t private
And quiet, it’s not,
Yet this bench by the river’s
A wonderful spot.

A cat on a leash
Jumped up, looking to share,
But she left with her owner

Leaving On A Happier Note

Going home again in the early hours of the evening.
This time I actually happily left after visiting.
Unlike the last time in which I had left him while crying.

My Religion'

Is to find some humour, every once in a while..! Ask me and
I will even  admit..' On wanting to see' some souper smiles.! Or
Should that be all soupers smiling..? Maybe thats too dictatorial.?? Hmm.. Maybe i'm too territorial.? Who knows?
But God alone.)

Happy New Year to my PS Friends
I trust it has started well
As we wave goodbye to 2023
It has been a year of Hell

A year that will go down in History
Full of unhappiness and woe.
Shrouded with intrigue and mystery
It is encouraging to see it go.

I hope that 2024
Has less suffering and pain,
And the world will be

Children Happier Than Ever Lie

Here's a question for

Whomever may have the answer

Because I am not in possession of it

Neither am i a fan of massaged statistics

And so called experts who them through

The media supply endlessly in droves 

But how many young children are choosing

To take their own lives and commit suicide 

Today more or less

Than two decades ago

Given that

What If

I've been thinking...
about the past alot...
I shouldn't but I do this often
I live in the past instead
of the present because
I was happier up until...
the doubt creeped in
And my emotional 
monsoon unleashed 
I guess I'm fragile in alot of ways
And hate change but.. 
No matter how much I wanted to...
You knew I was in too much

Happier than the morning sun,
Isn’t that the way that life should be done?
I’m also disappointed to note.
That lately the poet's writings are devoid of hope,
 they are all poems of trauma and strife.

I find some days to be like parched corn,
a few have smoothness of whipped cream.
Many days when I am feeling careworn,
I look to my past and begin to daydream.

Happier Again

I was looking at the 
sky when I wondered,
why does everyone lie?

I was wondering what
other people think as
my other thoughts would
fly.

I was looking at
the world with my
own eye and I 
was wondering why
does everyone lie.

I was looking at
my life when 
everything went quite.

Then I looked at
the sorrows, I was 
thinking of tommmorow.

Then I thought of

You should've told me I wasn't good enough
You should've told me how much I bothered you
You should've told me to keep the fair distance
But instead,you welcomed me into your cold embrace
Making me blindly believe I'm all you've ever wanted
Wasting my time, wasting those long years

It's so sad I kept coming back
Thinking you're the one meant

An Outcast

The digital world comes
And an old man seems to become
A social outcast
Using a telephone instead of a handphone
Using a typewriter instead of a computer
Writing a letter instead of an email
Reading newspaper instead of electronics news
Having posting service instead of express delivery
Using a cash purchase instead of an e-wallet

Happier Days

Trumpets sound, the church bells ring,
The organ plays while the choir boys sing.
Everyone is trying to sing in tune,
Happiness permeates the room

Smiling faces, Heads held high,
Voices floating up in the sky
Many voices raised in praise
Trumps in prison, happier days!

Who Is Happier

Different generations 
Different life styles
From deficiency to abundance
From neglect to care
From basic education to higher education
From man monopolization to women arising
From single income bearers to both parents working
From self-raising babies to baby sisters to nurseries
Different generations
Different perspectives of life
Different hazards
Different confrontations
Who is happier
Man is always curious and greedy
They always make problems to be solve
Like pollution,

Happier Eyes and Kinder Hearts

There are no happier eyes than yours,
there's no kinder heart than yours;
my huge universe is built on these,
my passion is an incurable disease!

Happier eyes and kinder hearts
rhyme perfectly in any song... 
then sing it for love, then sing it for joy;
you'll be amazed for how long
it will stay on lips that taste happiness...
