The Ugliest American President

Views rather point to Nixon,
By far handsomer Jackson!
Nixon’s swollen cheeks did grieve
But views should this to me leave…

If Nixon owned ugly face,
Did the rest of him show trace?

A Beauty Judge would face praise
But owner ‘Not The Crowned’ says;
“Had Straight Legs swapped for The Curved
And not Flat Tummy eyes served…

Back I’ll go to the buddy,
For his body long study…

A cheating face spares body;
Ugly face cheats not body.

Premium MemberPoet's Dozen

young man new in town
all of the girls on alert
amazed he chose me

Some of them were wittier.
A few of them were prettier.

He asked to take me to the movies.
I blushed as I said yes.

"Gone With The Wind" was showing.
and Clark Gable was the star
My date had no way of knowing
I thought him handsomer by far,
until I told him in the car.

That Guy

In that wedding
In that piece of pandemonium
I saw him, right there
In between the crowd
Where he was performing a traditional dance
I locked my eyes on him
And God! I wondered he looked just like him
But even more beautiful, more powerful, much handsomer
I waited and waited until he noticed me
I was there, so far away, on that table
Sitting upright, eyes locked, and thoughtful
Will I ever see him again?
That shared hidden passion
That I loved to practice
The dance finished, the guy left with his crew
I sat in despair and sighed
I would never see him again
A week passed, a wedding was on plate
I attended it elegantly
Dancing with ways
It was a lady- only matter
So I took off my scarf
And lay down my hair
The groom entered the hall
We all shall put our scarf on
To his beloved bride he walked
With such intensity and pride
The traditional crew walked right in
I just sat there and looked
Until I saw him again
That guy
Whatever his name is
I lay down a smile of delight
And pointed in my mind
And said “that is him”
Oh thank you God for this!
I sighed vulnerably again to realize
I would never see him again

Cinderella Missing Her Shoe

Adorably cute
in my hand-tailored suit...
searching for my Cinderella missing her shoe;
among the prettiest faces, someone will stand out
with eyes that are somewhat blue...
and running into a handsomer guy,
it won't discourage her from finding her delight...
hiding behind others without the perfect alibi!

Come out of the loud crowd,
beautiful one...show every apparent charm:
the delicacy of your womanly gesture;
and I'll reach out in kindness,
to subdue the fears of your first encounter!
Come out of the dim shadows,
incredible one, and accept my dance...
a request from my eager lips;
think of where we'd be tomorrow indeed,
when everyone has left and we ecstatically breath!

All the glamorous girls on the dance floor,
drinking heavily and laughing hysterically,
can't be compared to you; and what I'm looking for
is not just another amazing beauty,
but that certain winkle of shyness and more ingenuity!
Be that Cinderella missing her shoe, looking straight at me;
letting me gently slip it on,
so that this tender moment can become reality...
before our memorable, romantic night is gone,
and we'll remember nothing more than fantasy!
