spring morning glory loudly shivers while in quiet vine
the army of pumpkins herald the winter to come
night creatures do not belong in the spring light
steals the summer for the pumpkins reign
draculean teeth, werewolves claw - bullets to wreak havoc
witches storm with magic breath harvests springs renewal
spring takes the yoke of destruction foreign to its nature
to battle All Hallows Eve and save the birthing summer.
daring buds burst their pistilin swords
spirits shoot forth crystalline fear tendrils
new season birds pummel vast pumpkin fields
trumpet vines snakes the eyes of pumpkin soldiers
orange blood declares Halloweens defeat
the supernatural retire, monsters shrink back to den
spring settles commencing its seasons prerogative
summer tiptoes in...

Near our late year approach, A Celtic feast and festivities, around a wood blaze Hoge. On the first of the eleventh month, wine and beer by the barrel is sunk, and merrily a few of many will start their new year drunk.
Cloaked attire to scare off and warn, unwanted spirits of all shapes or form.
Children's songs they sing in rhyme, All Hallows Eve! do they shriek out and cry.
Markings drawn door to door, Candlesticks and spooky shrines.
what began as once a feared holiday
now for so many a celebratory time.

All hallows eve
Where the children may come
Searching for sweets
To the treats they succumb
The witches can hide
In the lost streets at night
The ghosts and the ghouls
Remain out of sight
Until the night clock
Strikes upon four
When they all come together
To gather some more
They search for the souls
Of those sweet as can be
The directions are clear from
The smell of candy

Oh, Moonshiner, man of the mountains high,
Where whispers of wind and wildcats' cry.
Your heart a kiln, your soul aflame,
With the secret of white lightning's name.
In hollows deep, your still does hum,
A symphony of steam, a hidden drum.
From fields of corn, a golden juice,
To fiery spirit, in silver cruse.
They call it 'stump water,' 'skullcracker,' too,
This potent elixir, born of dew,
A 'ruckus juice,' for joy and strife,
A taste of freedom, a taste of life.
You're a craftsman skilled, a master bold,
In the art of alchemy, stories untold.
With fire and patience, you coax it forth,
A spirit potent, of the mountain's worth.
So, raise a glass, to the moonshiner's art,
A rebel's brew, to stir the heart,
A taste of freedom, a whisper in the night,
A lightning flash, a fiery light.

February 8 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Leviticus 22-23
Key Verse – Leviticus 22:32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you.
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO HALLOWS US
Praise be to God for hallowing us from:
Blemishes of sinfulness
Blindness of selfishness
Brokenness of shame
Barrenness of suffering
Bruises of sarcasm
Beliefs of skepticism
Binding of sorrow
Leviticus 23:13 Praise be to the Lord Who provides
for our sweet-savoured offerings unto Him so:
Generously bountiful with bonuses
Graciously blessed against blight
Grandly beauteous by His bestowment
Greatly beneficial toward life-building
Gladly branded as best
Leviticus 23:40 Praise be to the Saviour Who wants us
to rejoice before Him since we are:
Adopted as His own children
Accepted in His sanctified congregation
Approved for His service-consecration
Allowed in His ministerial cooperation
Assured of His heavenly calling. Amen!

Glowing jack-o’-lanterns
Greet me by the door
Orange faces grinning
Or grimacing in horror
Night perches like a raven
Upon a twisted tree
While on the moaning autumn wind
Withered leaves fly free
Little ghoulies wander
Up and down the streets
Armed with brooms and pitchforks
Seeking tricks and treats
The air is filled with something
More than scents and sounds
Fresh-carved pumpkins, crumbling leaves
And children’s laughs abound
Black cats slick as shadows
Darting here and there
Growls and groans arising
From some creepy lair
The colors of the sky
As the day fades into dusk
Are the same as those of candy corn
Within a giant husk
A witch I am again this year
But the best I’ve ever been
Is the child that I am inside
Who still loves Halloween.

Lonely looking sky...
Eerie whispers in the night.
Dread fills the air with a chilling fright.
Ghosts of the past they take their toll.
Apparitions that haunt this lost, lonely soul.
Raven's justice in flight cries out a mournful plea:
"All Hallows' Eve, All Hallows Eve, the spirits are free!"
Lingering all souls as they haunt the shadows.
Lamenting over and over in a spectral tone.
A chilling wind silently twirled the leaves
Night descends on, Yes, All Hallows' Eve.
Piercing the silence an owl's hooting call
Ominous chill courses crackling through the hall.
Echoes of Poe linger as the day dissolves.

Hallows Eve Cat with the large lunar yellow eyes.
They glitter like diamonds, which is a big surprise.
I watch you trick-or-treating from my place in the skies.
Aliens are coming to scoop you up in the early sunrise.

Let the monsters out
on this sacred evening
Let us make love
to our Demons
at the midnight bliss
This is our time
This is our circle
May the Witches be blessed
May the word be
clear and known
Rise, my sisters!
It's all hallows EVE!

In the frame of grim dusk the shapes curved of wolf bark,
Out of the iron gate a man tall in grey cloak
appears still on the hill looming large in the dark,
he comes down as the grips of the night firmly choke.
Thin arms stretched, in the air he’s afloat like a bird,
as the moon rises high in slow pace in the sky,
when he drifts, he’s the Count, thus all old people heard,
as he stands at my door, to be bold, so I try.
Eerie night’s blue haze thick covers long ashen face,
red eyes glare, all the fangs protrude through bloody lip.
I do fail to escape, see myself in chill brace,
I hear him whisper cold, “your hot blood I will sip”.
I then freeze to the core when descends Hallows’ dusk,
fearsome scene irks me still by fun fright, man in mask.

In the gloom of the night came the screams from the scree
from the foot of the mountain, from inside the cave.
Are they human or animal… phantoms set free?
Will my heartbeat deliver a hero or knave?
So beyond the flat land with a cover of frost
rose the beasts’ craggy peaks with its hair-raising sounds
and the grass neath my feet crunched like bones as I crossed…
Now, I shiver in sync with my pulse as it pounds.
On the steps cut from stone to the chaos I rise
as the hills seem to mock giddy knees as they knock,
but there’s magic in mayhem… all cloaked in disguise
and bewitched by the hauntings inside this old rock...
and as lantern-lit skeletons spook this dark place
for the tricks and the treats there’s a smile on my face.

There was not in the sky one small patch painted blue
when the sun wrapped in clouds set unnoticed unseen.
Eerie sounds; what they were, he did not have a clue
but in darkness it’s known that the spectres convene.
Rolls of thunder ensued in the pursuit of light
then the droplets of rain soon increased, landed hard.
Swishy beating of wings betrayed shaitans in flight…
He stopped dead in his tracks as they caught him off guard.
Then a split in the clouds let the moonlight appear,
to the hamlet he strode, ghouls he tried to avoid.
With a spring in his step, shedding aura of fear,
niggly doubts were dispelled. He got back his sangfroid.
Midnight struck and at last every curtain he drew.
An inversion of roles: Jekyll sipped on his brew.

Eve of saints! Night’s soul cleaves! Dull dark day! Sly scenes seen!
Souls so gone, caring Christ, are called back, cared and calm!
Dark dress worn; bonfire lit; sins we chase, with souls clean!
Night in games! Needless noise! Endless feast! Blast blithe-bomb!
Trick-or-treat! Lantern Jack! Guests gather! Eat and cheat!
Pumpkin lights! Witchy shades! Scary skulls! Brownish bats!
Gleeful ghosts! Spiders stout! Black blood flood! Deft drumbeat!
Obscure owls! Howling wolves! Haunting kites! Blackish cats!
Meatball breads! Brown brawn beef! Spicy pies! Cookies crisp!
Candy bark! Worms in dirt! Monster bites! Cupcake coarse!
Bleat and greet! Beat the heat! Blare and scare! Will the wisp!
Scorn the morn! Own the noon! Sway the way! Course each source!
May each act show new fact; with fine fun let's make pact!
In each deed of this feast may our love grow in tact...!!!

The spooky truth about Halloween
will definitely make you scream
On all hallows night
when all is dark
Children are in their costumes
feeling carefree; filled with lark
As little devils get their candy
and babies sleep soundly in the night
the freaky shadows creep into
the innocent minds as they dream
to give them a terrible fright
On all hallows night
when all is real
how can we tell
which monsters are real?
