Meat is tender
Grilled done, add salt
Pepper and lime.

she was lukewarm
he was a grill fire
both of them under a shared starlight
he poured her whisky-soaked coke
she drank it like weak lemonade
this made him bolder
yet her steely blues eyes
grew coldly
now older
all he has is a simmering memory,
on his backburner.

Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Winter prowls at the doorstep
Fingers of cold reach through cracks
Solid ice statues shiver
Icy blasts freeze the gaunt marrow’s soul.
In this scene of starving snow,
Hungry snowflakes on the loose,
Time for warm tomato soup
Grilled cheese sandwiches hot and gooey.

Days melt like grilled cheese
Hot humid events stick to people or peeps
So much to ponder of old of new
Still thoughts drift back to who?
On your mind was it a chase
Of heart the one who got away
Was it a joy one you made
That in time grew into another thing great?
Was it remembering a friend who passed
Who's humor still fresh gives laughs
Was it a pet so loyal and true
That your mind unwinds drifts to?
Was it the little ones at that age
When pitter patter were normal days
Or a loved family member
Who never forgets what you cannot remember?
Grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup
What memory does that give to you?

A grilled cheese for lunch
Is enjoyable
The sandwich in pan
Then browning both sides
Notice the cheese melt
Then ready to eat
With chips on the side
Or a few pickles
Don't forget the beets
Together they blend
When eaten with cheese
Makes a perfect meal

Cheese melting into the bread
Hot and sticky, soon to be fed
Like I am melting into you
You stick to me like Elmer's glue
You satsify my needs like rape
Then rip yourself off me like tape -
You burn the bread; it's harder
But I'm not hungry any longer

Grilled cheese crackers, diet mountain dew
that's the life if only you knew
They taste so good even better together
Oh how I feel I could be happy forever
The way the cheese brings out the dew
Makes my life, this is true
Without these two Where would I be
Unhappy, evil, tormented not free
They bring out the best in me
Sad to say, but thats how it's going to be
This poem may be dumb, but Both DMD and These Crackers deserve
Recognition for being amazing, and sooner or later you will learn
They are the worlds greatest coping food
Everyone that's is reading this should go try this dude
