Aeschylus: "Agamemnon"
A man in exile
Feeds himself on barren hope
Yields to fate in time
Aeschylus: "Prometheus Unbound"
Life's hard lesson
Wrong is shameful in the old
Time instructs us all
Sophocles: "Philoctetes"
Words not deeds rule men
Shaped to meet the moment's need
Waging war with fate
Sophocles: "Antigone"
Courage to choose right
And 'gainst harsh reality
Make no compromise
Aristophanes: "Lysistrata"
Poet's plea for peace
Fair breezes speed us onward
Making love not war
Euripides: "Alcestis"
Time will console you
Walk to the end of old age
The dead are nothing
Immigrantis will poison our blood
Flotillis nonabzorba—a flood
Trumpcissus doth speak
And shall bear this critique
“Thou orate constantinely such crud!”

All Greek To Me
I wonder why most poems are so God damn sad
Filled with questions that don’t have answers
Why do poets need a shoulder to cry on
Preferring tears instead of laughter.
Is there guilt in feeling joyeous
Is that the reason it's so rarely expressed
Your poems with their depressing topics
Are tiresome boring at best
This began long ago in Ancient Greece
Where they so enjoyed the pain of others
Every play or story resulted in tragedy
Or ended with the sons marrying their mothers
Next time you ask me my opinion of your poem.
Filled with heartache death and misery
Don't think me rude or sarcastic
When I answer "It was all Greek to me."
cherchez la femme but
she's in the crosswalk
now so i didnt see her
because i was seeing
her in my thoughts
and i got thinking
of guerre but more
importantly la vie
and she romantically
language speaks
pardon my Francais
forgive my italiano
babble but let me
flip to page twenty
six and say the same
in
Espanol
A serpent saved Eve from a drouth
Medusa just opened her mouth
But snakes in her hair
How did they get their?
The Devil don't know North from South?
Yes I am hungry
For knowledge of the ages
I search through ancient scripts
Pages and pages
The words appear
Like Greek to me
Lines on pages
All squiggly
If I could understand
These words I see
I am sure this book
Would help set me free
Beauty,abundance and mirth
Three Graces of an imaginary earth,
Sisters, three to Muses of Greek royalty
Personification of everything artistic in mind
Twelve daughters, but none of the human kind.
The daughters (3 Muses and 9 Graces)of the legendary mythical King Zeus
I have skeletons in my closet like Yale in its campus
with satelites in outter space like CBS has cameras
scrutinizing humanity like anthropology with no apology
unifying the insanity of lovers of wisdom with my philosophy
i´m a firm believer in dressing to impress
blowing your mind like wind in the flesh
my skull n bones symbolize death
they call me neckros
laid out to rest
but brought back like i was retro
i close my eyes, pray and hear an echo
its just me and Theos building
¨Save me from the villians¨
Dameon is the pnuemonia of a python
its a breath of fresh air when I write on
the notebook, the page, the line i put my life on
i call it Greek
