naked and shining bright behind the curtain of a shrouded sky
a glow worm bears the lonely torch of my sorrowed fading soul
sometimes it slides down upon a comet to reach foundations in
the catacombs of a heart suppressed by anger fear and darkness
trips the fuse of new beginnings and arrests the thief of luminance
when it reflects on the sliding scale of downfall and reflections
there comes to light a firmament of hope and obscured aspirations
refuses to relinquish glimmers of a sparkling rollercoaster ride
and tells me that there is a stellar constellation with my name on it
conveys the message that one radiant flicker is more than enough
deep in the confines of a baseless basement of dusty mouldy gloom
it speaks a quiet tune of resilience in the face of stark obfuscation
purses its lips in a speech bubble that only I myself can penetrate
and radiates through suffocation blindness fatigue and lost resolve
until I comprehend that step by step I’ll reach the canopy once more

Standing by her window sill
She feels the misty dusk that pass-
Over the fading veil of shadows
She sees the rolling waves of sea.
The sea was always laughing in ripples
And conveying lots of soothing words-
The words of cryptic emotions hidden-
Those arouse the mind from morbid state.
Enthusing were the words she heard
Enticing her to a blissful plight-
Out she stretched like a creeper plant
To reach and embrace seeking sea.
The joyful surf welcomed her-
To a roller coaster ride across
She bid farewell to open window
And rushed to mighty sea with glee.
Reaching the shore, she retro-gazed
Towards the lights that glowed in haze.
Sliding through the crest of waves
She muttered: ’Oh, glow worms only!’

ME GLOW WORM
Me glow-worm glistening gaily
glittering, sparkling on glory.
Big bright Sun shines, blazes, spreads light.
Moon glows, stars glaze, twinkle at night.
I flap small wings, emit soft glow.
not strong as Moon- stars in night show.
With warm glow, I am the glow-worm.
At night sparking bright in own charm.
Day ends, eve fades, I rush, fly free.
Me fire fly though shy, glow in spree.
Shrubs bushes cheer up in dense dark
watching my dreamy mystic spark.
My tiny beauty flashes
on lover’s half closed eye lashes
mesmerizing Moon-lit night,
with charming intermittent light.

Glow Worm
There’s a Glow Worm,
sitting on my steak and ale pie.
How she happened to get there,
I’ll never know why.
Let me set her down gently,
just beside my lap.
Eat my steak pie,
while the Glow Worm takes a nap

Velcro ripped and soda fizz
Velvet crushed Moroccan night
Nocturnal buterflies those flickering fireflies
Our winking spies like circling satelites
Coming together , we fissures of light
Delicious refrain we split like pomegranite
Love spinning round the sun and the planets
Mortally chiselled on tombstone of granite
Hark ! Who goes there this Luciferous night
Its only I with my faltering lantern
Dragging behind attached little light
Fallen firefly - slow creeping glow worm
Mid air flight hangs the hateful things we said
Farewell this, heres lookin' at you kid
