is that a tremor
  calm down, take it easy
sure it is, distinct this time
  fingers trembling slightly

get a grip now
  no, I can't
I can't grip my pen
  my fingers are shaking now

O, the vagaries of age
  one goes from light to dark
in the tensing of the neck
  and the knot of the stomach

Trump Is a Dip So Get a Grip

Trump Is A Dip So Get A Grip

On ourselves with hands must get a grip,
Now that we know Trump has been a dip;
Then  better yet,
Dumb as you get,
And hope that we find many who will flip.

Get a Grip Big Chip

Jill has had both knees replaced
and neighbors have been helping.
This actually happened.

Get A Grip Big Chip

On yourself must get a grip;
On bowl could find big chip,
Almost miss;
Smooth now is;
Appeared along the top lip.

Get a Grip

Too many obstacles in my way
to get anything done today.

I over slept
called in sick.
Boss got ticked.
Oh well, he'll get
over it.

My head feels like
it's been hit
with a brick.

Stayed up late
to conjugate.
Seeking my soul mate.

Sweet grapes divine,
dranked some wine.
Dazzled the guys on line.

Before I knew it,
was 4 am.
You wouldn't believe
what I saw on cam.

This computer brings out
the devil in me.
I joke around,
shoot the breeze,
to some degree.

I have my limits.
I must admit.
I read your every comment.
I don't care how high your thermits gets !

Your apologies accepted.
And this wine I drink makes me no exception.
brb....I have and interception.
My empty glass needs a refill.
It's better than popping pills
but I won't do things against my will.
Go take a cold shower and chill.

Your charming words are alluring
and so reassuring.
They're as sweet as the wine I sip.
But you need to get a grip !

Trump Supporters Get a Grip

Get A Grip

Trump supporters on selves get a grip;
He should have served an internship,
Experience received,
And us not deceived;
He should have given us all the slip.

G-et a grip on emotion,
E-arly twenty-sixth of July;
M-inimize your excuses,
M-ake no plea or
A-libi.

L-et your tension decrease,
A-fter the long hard trip;
R-emain calm and composed,
A-s you must get a grip.

Peter wanted to cook some fresh snails
So he followed their silvery trails
He put them in a pot
But a lid he forgot …
Up kitchen walls poor Peter now scales!

On Myself Get a Grip

On Myself Get a Grip

When on myself I must get a grip
To certain pages in Bible will flip
Read dearly and in heart remain
In God words are so much gain.

More and more effort I always took
And ended up writing a whole book
Of poems similar to this very one
Am so proud when they were done.

God into my mind has often filtrated
He welcomed me and then educated
Each part of my eager body and soul
Always having been within His control.

Why should anyone write an editorial
Appearing controlling and dictatorial
When God always will be available
Write more poems make you able.

I should be trying it
It's simple common sense
Instead I pitch a fit
It's not quantum science

Why must I keep speaking
What I say too absurd
You will not even listen
Alone in my own words

Letting me ask myself
Before we get rearranged
Getting me to control
Turning against a change

You honestly love deeply
Will you know as well
I only just tear us down
Watching while I fell

Forming from could've
Shaping what we would've
Remembering how we've
Avoided life's should've

Get a Grip

He had a toothache to see the Dentist about.

The Dentist said that tooth must come out.

        Choose a needle or gas

        But the man said alas

I choose neither he said with a shout.

The Dentist said will a Viagra pill do?

The man said is that something new?

       I'll tell you the truth

       when I pull that tooth

I'm gonna need a place to hang on to!
