chiffon ruffles of peach and blue
delicate and delectable
adorned with sequins and pearls
worn by a gentlewoman from France
her taste is exquisite, chic and posh
adorned in this creation
she gave Cinderella a bit of competition

Premium Member Gladys Sue

here is Gladys Sue
she is a gentlewoman
a terrific friend
her integrity intact
always has your back
unless you double-cross her
then her vampire comes out

Premium Member A Slow Spoon of a Woman

She was a slow spoon type of woman who did not rush
Unhurried even if her kitchen curtains were in flamed
We tried to get a rise out of her, but she never overreacted
Amazing those of us who were experts at it.

She was a quiet soul, a gentlewoman who understood things
She spoke with the trees, the wind, the woodland creatures
They enjoyed her enthusiastic meditative ways
Her strength was apparent to them, and they flocked.

She dressed simply, keeping her funds to herself
We never knew how much she was worth in coinage
But in the ways of the wise, she was priceless.
Unhurried, yet commandingly confident and strong.

I Rocked Toward the Seashell

flatness__ charged words.
bellowed//out\\wardness
  i chashed utterfly
wing : eXPLOSING butter memory
_(ubble Head > -- huggly
faceSMEARED tears OF NO
path/ i .AUGH caught
said she/he said \
she left: oh no said HE:
the divine i spoke \ i was
that never good| the skin of
my animal ... of all these
  of all silence and experienced
traveled. How my eyes are fingers
pelted skillfully rolled. Then,
within my heart; to be never without
that fate of a beating drum inside
my chest. A beautiful nature of
round Moon and square Sun sings
as you. Love is that deepest root
of a breathing sky of life/how higher
is glorious wonderous that I carry
this heart.\ I could ponder my poems
professor/ These sharp teeth and carve
eyes as a cat of nine times to die.
How many have tried. Gentlewoman
and ladies.

Embrace the Moonlight

Obvious trap and graceful passion deserted,
Trapped soul dissolved in evergreen passion,
Dawn breeze dissolved in evergreen immortality,
Shy moonlight devoted to the lyrical breeze,
Gentlewoman, shimmer in the moonlit sky!

My Gentlewoman

She wears my plaid
Looks good in flannel
Puts up with my every fad
We fight over the channel
She drinks my coffee, its sludge
Pokes my belly to tease
And eats my emergency fudge
Forgets to say please
All is forgotten when I see her grin
Hell, they might call it a sin
I love to watch her go, when my lady departs
But we complete each other, our lady hearts

A Special Garden

We softly shine
Within the storms of time,
Truth told my mom a sweet song
For each important vine ~
A gentlewoman plants
Her special garden roots,
By, His sacred hand…
To climb as joyful blooms
Sprouting with love and life
As fruitful breaths from Him;
Believer’s spring as protected
Children, formed of His understanding,
Together we thrive to follow
A goodly path…
Rose through peace,
To live, listen and walk
Emerged for the way of I AM
