The Spanish had armadas;
the Americas, flotillas.
The Amazon has capybara;
the Andes has chinchillas.
Kentucky has its sassafras;
Madagascar has vanilla.
Napoleon lost at Waterloo;
Frazier, in Manila.
Will a person tell the Mexicans
how to pronounce tortilla?

The Camel Threads

No off position
on the genius switch

No light
to then burn out

No cracks to form
on Leonardo’s bronze

No Frazier Ali
rout

The expectations
stretch beyond

What humanity
can span

The eye of the needle,
the camel threads

What always could
—still can

Premium MemberI'M Ready To Rumble

If I were not afraid, I'd challenge my life long
enemy to a royal rumble.

It would be like the Muhammad Ali and
' Smokin' Joe Frazier match.
Or like the 'Sugar' Ray Leonard and Thomas
' the hitman' Hearns fight.
I've been training my whole life so I know I
can take him down.

Oh I forgot to mention that match with ' Iron'
Mike Tyson and Buster Douglas.
Nobody was ready for Buster Douglas in
that stellar match.

I got to come like Buster did, if I want to beat
my opponent who is a big bully,
Who goes by the name of F. E. A. R….
I got to knock him out because he's held me
back for far too long.

Premium MemberMohammed Ali

Mohammed Ali
Dancing in the ring
Flying like a butterfly
Eying the title-world champ
He took on anyone
The belt was his to hold...
Until defeat...he shakes a hand
He fought Joe Frazier three times
He was the greatest boxer

Working From Home

Sitting at home all nice and dandy,
Contemplating the chance of a seventh hand-shandy,
Watching the TV having coffee with foam,
That's what you do when you're working from home.

Watching some Frazier or Jeremy Kyle,
Just sitting and watching the clouds for a while,
Cleaning your teeth with the end of a comb,
That's what you do when you're working from home.

Send an email to appear like you care,
Then sit and relax in your favourite arm chair,
Then spend a few hours searching on Google Chrome,
That's what you do when you're working from home.

Then back in the office make strong demonstrations,
Of how you 'do all the work' and drown in applications,
And what is the action of your management and peers?
Well they don’t even notice, it’s been like this for years!

I am welcomed home

Free

I'm going down silently
Could it be
I'm lost in a masquerade?
Sounds of laughter, joy, and humor abound
filling the air with harmony
but its intagibility
leaves me untouched
much
as thoughts, emotions, regret
evict any remnants of glee,
understandably,
I fall deeper within me
silently
battling negativity
like Frazier battled Ali
I am enough and more
than this feeling
swarming me
Prayer

The Day Philly Went Up In Smoke

Smokin' Joe Frazier,
A champion in my book;
Known for a patented wallop,
The Philadelphia left hook!

He never had the beauty,
Of a Muhammad Ali;
Frazier hit like a mammoth,
While Ali stung like a bee!

Bobbin' and weavin',
From side to side;
He never stopped punchin',
'Til the day he died!

Many years ago,
When I was just a kid;
The Fight Of The Century,
I remember what he did!

Ali was quick and flashy,
Adoring the role of a clown;
It was there in the fifteenth,
When Frazier knocked him down!

The two would meet again,
And another soon after;
A rivalry long enduring,
One of boxing's greatest chapters!

Sportin' those colorful trunks,
Way below the knees;
Folks all got their money's worth,
He was guaranteed to please!

Those aren't clouds in Philly,
They're raging puffs of smoke;
Make way for the locomotive,
That left hook ain't no joke!

Goodbye for now Joe Frazier,
You'll be sorely missed;
Boxing's lost its glory,
Real men fought with their fists!

Missing U

Missing you
Ever since you left
my smile turn into a frown
I dont know what to do
Because you is not a round
It seem like I just the world
and all i lost waz you
You was always there for me
No matter what the problem was
You didnt care what people thought about you
all you cared about was your family, God and I
You always told me that everything will be alright
and you always cover me in your arms
and now I am going to the same for you
Phillis Frazier
We will never forget you
You is always in our hearts
and I am missing you
and I love you
