Working From Home
Sitting at home all nice and dandy,
Contemplating the chance of a seventh hand-shandy,
Watching the TV having coffee with foam,
That's what you do when you're working from home.
Watching some Frazier or Jeremy Kyle,
Just sitting and watching the clouds for a while,
Cleaning your teeth with the end of a comb,
That's what you do when you're working from home.
Send an email to appear like you care,
Then sit and relax in your favourite arm chair,
Then spend a few hours searching on Google Chrome,
That's what you do when you're working from home.
Then back in the office make strong demonstrations,
Of how you 'do all the work' and drown in applications,
And what is the action of your management and peers?
Well they don’t even notice, it’s been like this for years!
