your not the first to think it
others thought it to
not even first to say it
its been said long before you
that special feeling
you think unique
others felt it
long been critiqued
whatever you done
accomplishment you think
its been done and done
google and check the link
everything and more
nothing original or new
anything you thought
something you do
its all been done before
just facts and nothing more
but something that has never been
is there is only one you my friend
you are a fraternal twin???

My father had a Dick Tracy nose,
sometimes referred to as Roman,
beneath which were his thick, full lips.
His fraternal twin, on the other hand, had thin lips
(Genes are strange things.).
I don’t know where on the family tree either inherited them,
but I do know that my father’s proved dominant:
I have them,
my daughter does,
(I no longer have any idea what her mother’s were like.),
my son does.
I was never aware that mine were my father’s until,
upon seeing a photo of her grandfather,
whom she never knew,
my daughter remarked that he had “fish lips”
like hers and like mine.
I showed her a photo of her half-brother,
whom she barely knew then,
and, yes, there they were.
There are many traits that my father imparted to me.
Sadly, not all were as wonderful as his fish lips.
But I’ve been told more than once
that my kisses are soft and sensual.
What more can I ask?
Yin Yang
We make our own demons,
create our own gods.
Our lives, are a series,
of evens and odds.
In the ebb and flow of the rockiest tide,
Truth is a pearl, We all seek to hide.
Success, just failure turned on its head.
The path to victory, is littered with dread.
Desire and fear, the fraternal twin,
Thoughts control if you lose or you win!
A need, a plan, action and grace,
Shield you from all the arrows you’ll face.
You cannot win, without playing the game.
If nothing is changed, results are the same.
The life you make, is all in your mind,
To have tomorrow,leave yesterday behind.
