lilacs and lemons
super well known fragrances
summer reminisce
It's Friday, yay! The final weekday of my academic immurement.
On Friday nights we go out - we’re up late - so late that it’s early,
but it’s ok, we’re young and dumb.
But if you think you’ll find me sleeping in on a Saturday morning - you’d be wrong.
On the weekends, the richest part of Paris mornings involve neighborhood street-life - which are invitations to sensory abundance - and it all happens before lunchtime.
The sensorial joys of the “sun-south” flower market stalls, overflowing with fresh lavender, peonies and powdery-sweet Violet blooms - tulips from Holland and roses from Kenya - that cool the air with fresh fragrances compete and mingle with savory baking aromas from local boulangeries (bakeries).
The dueling scents define mornings in the Marais (ivy-clad streets) or along the Seine.
Hit the snooze button and you can miss it (and trust me, napping later can be fun).

"A Day Goes Better With Pretty Flowers." By Poet
G-Gardens everywhere are starting to be reborn.
A-Alive with beauty from town to town.
R-Roses and tulips are smiling out loud.
D-Dead flowers will be wearing a new outfit.
E-Everyone loves pretty colors and sweet fragrances.
N-Now is the time to work your garden.
I see
Your beauty in your smile
Your beauty in your eyes
Your beauty in your cadence
Your beauty in your fragrances.
I see
Your beauty in your laughter
Your beauty in your hair
Your beauty in your patience
Your beauty in your grace.
I see
Your beauty in everything
Woman, you drive me crazy
When you're in my arms
When your eyes meet mine
And when you lovingly nudge my hands.

Fragrant flower, the scents of you
Permeate me through and through
Lilac soap, vanilla rose
Subtle, sensing through my nose
Down they go, pass by my heart
Further down a certain part
Stirs, expands, reaction firm
Crescendo, all's fair with slow burn
What's the forecast for today?
They say a snowstorm's on the way
Let's cuddle up and watch it come
Flake by flake until it's done
Hold me tight, I'm sensitive
I love you dear for all you give
A tender moment shared by us
Nothing minus, only plus
Flowers blossom into a world they don’t know
They bring color to the wild and beauty to our homes
Melodies play and overcome the silence of sorrow
They bring sweetness to words and memory to songs
Fragrances adorn the air with invisibility that glows
They lighten our breathe, with every air we draw
Bridges shortening distances to people we don’t know
They yield acceptance of the backgrounds we come from
Love is like flowers, melodies, fragrances and bridges
Nothing happen without reason
My destination now not far
Some time I feel so nervous
Sometime I go confidence
My whole vision is hidden in someone
And the color of truth
Emerge in the sky
And now rising touch my heart
And day of my success not too far
I am a traveler of the time
And want to touch a new height
By the shower of moon light
Flowing river reach on sky
So the emerging dream find real rise
And the day goes brighter
And the shower of love
Bring fragrances of flower
Lost Souls and Fragrances
A saffron fragrance mixed with aromas from desert shores
Salt and seaweed lifts the distances of spirits drifting on tomorrow
Archeologists are touched and drawn
To the other side with all their senses
They search with empty bodies even now
Spirits lead the way
Reach through centuries, which took those souls so long ago
Through distances on countless years to Istanbul for study
To copy, to replicate the human souls, of the lost and found
Archeologists have no clues
They dig through so much memory, buried
But when they open up the very last tomb
The smell, the aroma, the human and the spirit
Open on the ancient to the here and now
Scent and soul comes through, holds on
Lingers with the find until tomorrow
