Forbidden City

Walking through this southern gate
You’ll be travelling back in time
Where Emperor’s once ruled this place
You’ve crossed the meridian line
Welcome to the Forbidden City
Full of heavenly rooms
From Ming Dynasty to Qing
Now a beautiful palace museum

A million people built this place
Craftsmen came from every state
Built this palace with artistic design
This complex will surely make you smile
So much

Insightful Praise of a Pretty Little Liar

Chiaroscuro ballerina,
Rond de jambe in chaînés
Jeté, jeté
Grand jeté

Mariana Victoria,
Your Seiren eyes speak in
Adamantine lies
Forbidden apple gates

Amina Afrikana,
Runes enjambed in chains
Adamantly denying
Grand opries

Bloomeria guro,
Your six-petaled cries sing
"Beaujolais, beaujolais!"
Forbidden pomegranates

To think that I could set a spell
and have a little chat,
that out might pop a sweet rondel
like rabbits from a hat
whose origins no bard could tell -
can you imagine that?

But what might mystify me more:
to call that work my own.
Would you not have to silence shame
or are such thoughts unknown?
The tech is cool,

the valley of the forbidden

The Valley of the Forbidden

Sat under an oak in the valley of the naked woman
admiring her rounded breasts, a malevolent oak
took offence, not that I minded, after all, it had been
at the same spot for a hundred years, long before the valley had a name.
Suddenly, the tree slapped me
 a leathery branch
Oh, pain makes me

Premium MemberThe Ballad of the Forbidden Flame - In memory of Oscar Wild

He wore no mask of murder’s face,
No blade was in his hand,
But still they called his love a crime,
And could not understand.
He kissed a boy with poet’s grace,
The courts replied: “He’s banned.”

They cast him in a narrow cell,
Where joy must learn to die.
He’d loved too much, and not too safe:
Too deep, too true, too high.
And

Renee Vivien English Translation of her 'Coming Out' poem

Renee Vivien English Translation

Words to My Love
by Renée Vivien
translation by Michael R. Burch

This is Vivien’s “coming out” poem, although the term wasn’t coined until many years after Vivien’s death. The poem was written about forbidden love to a girlfriend and lover.

Please understand me: an unusual creature,
not so very good, or bad; perhaps a bit

Forbidden Love

You’ve got to hide your love away,
that’s what the neighbours always say.
I’m told it would be wrong to show
my feelings, let emotion flow:
but this is twenty twenty-five,
and through my love I feel alive!
You think it sinful? Surely not:
I’m married to an ocelot.

The Pope’s Forbidden Tunnel

The Vatican hides many books, but some stories bleed through stone.

He was Pope Fourteen, God's chosen hand,
A shepherd cloaked in crimson and command.
But beneath the weight of holy crowns,
A man still burns when no one's around.

She was Anna, a Catholic nanny, pure and fair,
With ink-black eyes and Marian prayer.
She sang the hymns with sacred grace—
But

Melody of the Forbidden

hold this hand that longs for your touch
it is you that i want, is it too much?
make a melody using the drums that you beat,
for us to dance under lightning-met-night in secrecy

i want you to bleed my lips
and heal them with a perfect kiss
as a reminder for me to keep living
and then mark me with

The attempt
A wooden Bridge
No Enter
Weak Foundation
Danger and Caution
Beware
River flows
Water swim tolerance
Just avoid crossing
Courage to try
Warning to emphasize
Bridge uncertain
No hold on grasp
Cross at your own risk
Warning signs you shouldn’t miss
Danger, Warning
Find another way to the other side.

FORBIDDEN

Inspired by "Part Time Lover" - Stevie Wonder

I know I’m spending too much time with you
And really ought to turn and walk away.
I came today when in my heart I knew
Just what a dangerous game it is we play
No words of love have passed between us yet.
We’ve both been careful not to cross the line.
But

Combatting dollars

Clashes of riches
For everyone wishes to be pronounced “thor”
Their hammer being the only way for them to score,
For they all need keys to unbind forbidden doors.
The answer meanwhile has been stitched to a lame roar,
He who hears it, can decipher all the nameless lores.

Incomprehensible

Incomprehensible is a real thing, just believe it, and your mind will create
Create and get it. That's what you want from life, in the existence of life

Life, maybe not now, the goal may be a bit far, far from your present life
Yeah, the reality always exists, only sometimes it is hidden or forbidden

Mysterious forces control
