Not Yours

He is the perfect man
                        A man of her dreams
                        But when she woke up
He's the man with wedding ring.

Glaze of Wedding Day

You were never a choice,
You were never an option,
You were the only one,
The only receiver of the token.

Your dulcet voice,
opens doors to various imaginations.

Your deep-set eyes,
place where lies my nation.

Your alluring magnanimious face,
admired for infinite duration.

The words can't embrace,
your appealing expression.

Deep red intoxicating wine encased,
The Day of our declaration.

Whispers

Whisper in my ear, my love,
And let me hear your heart.
For this affair will never end
Or will it ever start?

You kissed my hand so sweetly
On that shimmering springtime day,
And all I had to answer was
Should I go or should I stay?

Your lips found mine with passion
But a ring flashed wedding band,
Blinded tears within my eyes
It would never go as planned.

I left you standing sadly
As I quickly walked away.
You thought I was just playing
But I love you to this day.

Paths of Love

PATHS OF LOVE

Puppy love
First love
Wishing for true love
And finally everlasting love

Its how everyone begins
Listening to love songs
Dedicating their own theme songs
Then dear diary begins

Holding on to the songs
I've Fallen for You
Crazy for You
Who knows how many songs

First kiss
Wedding gowns
Wedding vows
Wedding kiss

Hoping love is till death do us part
And no one will depart
I do is the best part
But fidelity is the most significant part

A Wedding Day

Today is your wedding and you will look your most beautiful.

He will turn around with tears because you are so special to him.

May love be the first and last thought of your day.

You will have struggles, but each struggle comes with a gift. These gifts may be at first hard to see at first, but they will make you stronger.

Your love and life will be transformed as you go through life hand in hand, wondering what is next because living life is more than your dreams.

May your milestones in life are those working together as a family.

May the only scars you see in life being in the hands from heaven, holding you up on your journey.

A Love Story

A long time ago,
A boy met a Lady, They Danced and drank and met up daily,
Laughter filled their lungs, as they acted a little crazy,
Soon time began to fly by lately,
Although in their 20s they dreaded turning eighty,
One day a ring appeared in the boy’s hand, rather shaky,
Please my darling girl marry me Baby,
The wedding was merry, and full with friends and family,
And of course the best matey,
The boy became a man the day he held his first baby,
Life was grand and as sweet as the ocean and sand,
Although the couple prayed daily life became rather racy,
And here we are my dear husband, Mi. Lady,
Although a few memories have become a little hazy,
They remain each year in my heart filling it with gayety,
And my love remains like the blooms of a fresh daisy.

Long Term Questionable Marriage

NO WEDDING BAND, OR RINGS
THEY BOTH ARE NOT WEARING
WHAT HAPPENED?
A LONG-TERM MARRIAGE AFTER DECADES OF YEARS
JUST IN A RELATIONSHIP
NO GENUINE VACATIONS
NO WALK IN THE PARKS
A LONG TERM MARRIAGE
WASTED IN THE DARK?

SOME GREAT DAYS IN THE PAST
AS EARLIER IN THE DAYS
SOME BAD DAYS OVERWEIGHED THE GOOD
A MIXTURE OF EMOTIONS
CARRIED ON BY FEELINGS
IS IT JUST A MARRIAGE EXISTING?
OR, NOT REALLY LIVING?

PEACE, LOVE, JOY
PRAYERS FOR THE TWO
FINDING LOVE AGAIN
IS THE MARRIAGE ENDED?

HURT AND PAINS
CALLING OUT OF NAMES
GRIEF AND UNFORGIVENESS
FOR THE ONE
IS IT TIME TO MOVE ON?

BOTH HAS LEFT
IN AN UNKNOWN WAY
A RING REPLACED
A DIAMOND IS GIVEN
NOW ONE IS REALLY LIVING.

LIFE GOES ON
NO TIME TO WASTE
YEARS PASSING BY
NEVER TOO LATE
HAPPINESS, JOY, PEACE WITHIN
A SMILE WORTH-WHILE
AMEND.

Anniversary Collabration

Today on our wedding anniversary we get together and write this poem, my beloved wife and I.

Anniversary collaboration

It’s forty nine years now
Since we wed on that day
But dear, I still love you
In the grandest of ways
I’m glad that we married
I love you so much
I hope you still love me
Though I’m greying a touch.

Yes I will still love you
Though you have gone grey
We will keep on loving
In the same lovely way
Our lives till forever
They will be entwined
Forever my darling
I will still be thine.

I thank thee my angel
For I could not live
Without you beside me
You have much to give
I give you my heart
And I give you my soul
Each moment I’m with you
My world feels so whole

These forty nine years
You have gave me such bliss
If you were not with me
How you I would miss
I thank you for giving
Me your heart, and soul
I’m glad that I get you
To feeling so whole.

Almost Silver Wedding

ALMOST SILVER WEDDING. Union.....Nuptial knots (arranged or love) of true hearts are tied in heaven(Monoku) An introduction to a new family, elegant people we met luckily, few days later, came a proposal, a lecturer in a french beard, with effervescent eyes, conveying so much in magnitude, few words, signalling vibrations, emotive of mutual bonding and care, "a wedding exceptional',he said, "no dowry,we just want the bride" not many exchange of gifts but an assurance of all that is needed, augment of every meeting together, exalted the charisma of of our pledge in love, respect, happiness and empathy. Twin thoughts spiralled under the marriage canopy(huppah)in virtual symbiotic relation of eternal constancy. Leading me by his hand in his love nest, he has outgrown his comeliness... Swaying beings in better and worse, Can't believe, its 23 YEARS OF WEDLOCK, almost silver jubilee. Contest:My wedding day is special Sponsor:O.E.Guillermo. 19 march 2016.

Unforgettable Moment

Those were my green and salad days,
a time of innocence and play, where
marbles shone like pearls and
every trinket was a treasure.
The world was simple, a canvas of pure joy
school, home, and the familiar corners of my aunt's house
were the boundaries of my kingdom.
I was a prince, carefree and unburdened,
unaware of the complexities that lay beyond.

My father, the silent architect of my happiness,
waged wars against invisible foes,
his struggles hidden behind a veil of stoicism.
I floated through those days,
buoyed by blissful ignorance,
until a stark awakening came.
It was etched into my memory,
a moment as indelible as an inscription on copper
the day he sold his wedding watch to pay for my education.

For the first time,
I felt the sting of tears for another's sacrifice.
It was a profound shift,
a departure from the self-centred orbit of childhood.
Emotions painted the moment in vivid hues,
a portrait of empathy and maturity
emerging from the canvas of my youth.

For a poetry contest, inspired by a memory.

Never Leave Me

There I was in his arms
Warm and safe from all harm,
He kissed my cheek and fell to one knee
As he said the words "Will you marry me?".

One month later our wedding day came
And we joined as one to be the same,
But on our honeymoon he got a call
I fell to the floor and lost it all.

He solemnly explained that he had to go
"Go where?" I wept, "You can't, please, no!",
We hurried back home for him to catch his plane
He was now stationed to Iraq, how insane!

I watched as he took off and waved goodbye
I could not bear it, therefore I cried,
As the long hard days came and passed
I thought of him as long as each day'd last.

Six months dragged by and at the door a man knocked
He handed me a letter which badly of it I thought,
The letter broke my heart into a million pieces
And also left scratches, bruises, and creases.

He was pronounced missing in action
Missing from my heart were huge fractions,
But I knew one thing...I could not give up
I prayed and I paced but still no luck.

A few more weeks passed but I'd gotten no word
"What's going on?" I'd sob, "this is absurd!",
When at last I had lost all my hope
I no longer like this had to cope.

I walked outside and what did I see
A man's figure walking towards me,
Our eyes met distantly and he dropped his things
My heart doesn't ache, no longer does it sting.

There I was in his arms
Warm and safe from all harm,
I kissed his cheek as we fell to our knees
And I whispered the words "Please, never leave me!"

Journey of Love - Through the Years

Looking back on fading photographs
Of yesteryear
The journey to their wedding day
And all that’s led them here
Fate brought them together
Two halves that made a whole
Two strangers who connected
And found each other’s soul
Their road has not been easy
Both still learning every day
The mountains and the hills that they have climbed
To find their way
The years that each has given
Their feelings plain to see
The flame of love for these two souls
Will burn eternally
The house that they have made their own
The fires they walked through
Through ups and downs, through tears and fears
Their love remained so true
Through the years he’s been there
While she smiled, and laughed and cried
Through the years he’s been her love
Her strength, her rock, her guide
Through the years she cared for him
She’s loved him everyday
Through the years when he was lost
She helped him find his way
Through the years when things were tough
When anything went wrong
Together they stood side by side
Together they stood strong
But...the pinnacle of their love
Their most precious gifts of all
Their greatest three creations
Cameron, Bobbi and little Paul
And though it’s not been easy
With many a sleepless night
Though times they felt like giving up
Together they held tight
For love is what has led them here
It’s love that kept them strong
Two hearts that made a promise
To each other, they belong
And though one chapter has ended
A new one begins in their life
For Paulie and Karlie – their journey of love continues
As husband and wife ...

The Wrong Leap

The Wrong Leap
The hardest lesson
Has been to get rid of the tension
That you’re no longer at my mention

Well thank God, I got that out of my heart
At least I saved myself from the hurt
No that you’d have cared if died

But I’d be there by your side
I’d be there when you take the dive
I’d been there when you almost died in that ride

But I guess, I was never the right
I was never the right person that your heart pleased
But I still did my end with no plea
I was the right person to dance by you
But I was still the same person who stood by you
When you were losing you

I was never the right person to answer’ I do'
But I was the same person when you asked if I loved you despite all your flaw’s I said I do

Well that sums up that your live wasn’t true
But that mean that mine was due

Cause every time I try to move
Every time I try to play cool
Every time I try to meet someone new
I come back to you like a fool

Guess you never really cared just who
Just as long as your bucket list wasn’t due
Foolish me that my bucket list revolved around you
But now that you’re gone I see there is nothing to lose
Except sending my apologies to my parents for losing a daughter they once knew

Funny yeah, but it’s true
For you I broke every rule
We left the cat at the zoo
Drove the night to Malibu
Spent our nights on my roof staring at the moon

And we played the game where we say, yes I do

Ooh yes you didn’t
You left me here like a pimp
And walked away all drip
And now at your wedding all I do is peep
Guess I took the wrong leap

Arrons Song

Arrons Song

You say you have no secrets
    even it it hurts.
So I should have no secrets
    I should be honest
    even if it hurts.
But I have secrets from my you
    but only because it hurts
no diamonds for you to find
    no white wedding dress.
    Write something romantic an beautifull
a love poem from the heart and soul
end by saying I would give anything
to hold you in my arms.
    Make love to you
    but that can never be
But if you saw me you would only start crying
I couldnt comfort and hold you in my arms
    and take away the hurt.
and I would start dying over a love that
    can never be.
You can see just cant see.. me
    I have quaudraplegic cerebal paulsey
I cant talk, I cant sing and I cant fly
I cant walk, I cant stand up or sit down.
I cant feel your love but only in my head
I know we will never meet
    unless it in our minds
Where can, walk, run, talk, but only our my minds
My heart sings, my love soars when I hear your voice
you want to hear me say I love you
I've done that a million times but only in my mind.
I cant do much but I can laugh and smile
My heart breaks and soon my time will be done
and ill still love you as my soul soars
    but only in my mind.
My Universe is craahing, cracking, calling
and soon i'll will be gone
When I'm gone, please forget me, but not my song
and most of all, be happy
but always remember the man you never met
and Love me in your mind..

    Arron has quadraplegic cerepal paulsey..
this book of poetry is dedicated to him.

Why Men Are Called Groom and Women Bride

WHY MEN ARE CALLED GROOM AND WOMEN BRIDE

Hullabaloo and cacophony etched in your Union,
Soliloquies to break up with your said-protagonist of a spouse,
You forgot your beautiful euphony, word fusion
When the beginning of two you can't even denounce.
Six months will turn sixty years, hopefully,
Only if you refuse to pull off the plug.
Hope to reminisce your days in the solitary.
Scattered equations be fixed like a computer bug
Malfunctioning & calculating 2 plus 2 as three.
Why is the newly wedded Man called GROOM,
And the woman, full of mystery, called BRIDE?
Her chromosomes which is genetic info room
Is like a deep ocean even as you swim with the tide.
Wedding day was when you 'ere commissioned as GROOM
For the new task of a durational long learning passage.
Nobody calls her WIFE on wedding days but BRIDE,
Your Union overtime will birth it's own adage:
Man "grooms" his BRIDE to become the WIFE.
That's why Men are called "Bridegroom" when he's trending,
Grooming connotes patiently nurturing, teaching her to thrive,
Helping her become and carefully tending.
The altar is for two madly-in-love MATURED mates,
Patiently inclined to groom and to be groomed.
High expectations may automatically results to hate,
To become a WIFE she must be graciously groomed,
It doesn't mean one has the edge.
Before thinking separation, have you groomed her?
Give time for understanding, your universe will merge.
The HAND will need to be patient with the PUZZLE
Else a scattered piece, a show of tumbled King,
Broken Queen will surface, alongside dilapidated Castle.
She's to be your WIFE but still your BRIDE inspite the ring,
Just GROOM the BRIDE, don't painfully hustle
Cos your Union isn't a semantic struggle tussle
If only you follow Divine steps to avoid the hassle.

What It Is Not To Be Married

As a young girl you fall in love,
Not once not twice but many times,
And then you find a man,
A man you think is the right one for you,
A man you think can keep you happy ,
The dream man you have always wished for,

The farther you are from him,
The more you love him,
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,
You want to be closer,
Nearer the merrier is what u think,

Long hours of talking on phone,
Countless hours of romance,
Yes, through phone, again,
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,

You dream of marriage,
Dream of a life with him,
The few days you meet during vacation is all you know of him,
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,

Then comes the big day, wedding!
It's all dreamy and fuzzy through the 3 days of wedding,
And finally here you are married and as a wife
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,

Cooking, eating together and going out becomes a routine,
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,

The first few days is when you get to know each other,
Their preferences , their choices,
You adjust, he adjusts , after all you think it's all a give and take,
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,

Yes, we keep learning in life , from our mistakes and others,
In this game of marriage you do see different facets of yourself and him,
Anger,love,laughter,selfishness,care,giving,missing and more,
But this should all be tied with a feeling called 'mine'
The minute you think it's 'yours', you always understand things better ,
Never think it's him/ her, think that's yours!
Yours today, tomorrow and for ever!

Marriage, as they say is NOT a bed of roses,
Marriage is not a fairy tale,
Not a fantasy world,
It's not cinema like,
It's not always romantic,
It's not always about you,
Marriage is about understanding,
Marriage is about thinking the other person is yours!
Feel it to live it!

Love Forever Fades Away

LOVE FOREVER FADES AWAY!!!! wrote by Mrs.Madhavi
Waving like the sea,
Your decision was bias.
You ought to give me wedding ring,
But set my dreams on fire.

Can you answer me for the single reason, what made you do this?
Was it the beauty? Was it the caste, or the complexion?

You said I am your love at first sight.
You were the one who took the initiative and intended to keep it up.
You were the one who delightedly filled my heart with zeal of love.
You were the one who elegantly filled the warmth of love in my soul.

Confronted with an unsolvable dilemma’s where there is no right answer, we always know the answer to everything.
But what you did? You just made false promises.
Still you define it as the love, true love?
Or the love that vanished with no reason.
Answer me, answer me, my thee??

Near the bandra reclamation,
Sitting at the amusement park,
You were the one who excitedly expressed your thirsty feelings.
You were the one who stared at me without closing your eyes for a single second.
But you were the one who set my dreams on fire.

You said you will ask your parent’s for lifetime commitment?
But I will ask you one thing, if you feel your parents will understand and decide your love, then why you fell in love?
If you know that story wont line up with an happy ending, then what made you do this?
It’s just the pain you mounted on my heart. You just broke my heart.

When you blamed, that it’s the caste, it hurted me like hell.
Answer me my love, what made you do this?
I was happy being single.
Then, why you disturbed my life with no reason?
Then, why I got so much acquainted with you for all season?

It’s was so easy, that you picked up different slices of life but why Castism you did my almighty?
In the bruising darkness just left with ashes of memories, lying my face down in ignorance.
You broke my trust for all the life time in my way.
But still you left the happy prints, as a hope of ray.
It’s because of you, Love forever fades away.
But still left with the mementoes of yours, reminded me every day!!
