Journey of Love - Through the Years

Looking back on fading photographs
Of yesteryear
The journey to their wedding day
And all that’s led them here
Fate brought them together
Two halves that made a whole
Two strangers who connected
And found each other’s soul
Their road has not been easy
Both still learning every day
The mountains and the hills that they have climbed
To find their way
The years that each has given
Their feelings plain to see
The flame of love for these two souls
Will burn eternally
The house that they have made their own
The fires they walked through
Through ups and downs, through tears and fears
Their love remained so true
Through the years he’s been there
While she smiled, and laughed and cried
Through the years he’s been her love
Her strength, her rock, her guide
Through the years she cared for him
She’s loved him everyday
Through the years when he was lost
She helped him find his way
Through the years when things were tough
When anything went wrong
Together they stood side by side
Together they stood strong
But...the pinnacle of their love
Their most precious gifts of all
Their greatest three creations
Cameron, Bobbi and little Paul
And though it’s not been easy
With many a sleepless night
Though times they felt like giving up
Together they held tight
For love is what has led them here
It’s love that kept them strong
Two hearts that made a promise
To each other, they belong
And though one chapter has ended
A new one begins in their life
For Paulie and Karlie – their journey of love continues
As husband and wife ...
