A Flutterby



Knew a delicate flyer named flutterby
She'd fly backwards not like other butterflies
Kept bumping into things
But on AGT she could sing
Sang opera brought a tear to my eyes

If you catch a butterfly and then you let it go
Do you ever wonder where the butterfly will go
Will she settle in a tree or fly up to the sky
Perhaps the pretty butterfly will simply flutter by

Or will the little butterfly go off and lay some eggs
To make some caterpillars with a lot of little

Impromptu like a moth
pale words flutter out of his 
psychodelic mind

curious funny flutterby…
for a second then, I didn't move, 
deadpan, I said, 

"... try again with some panache, some style" 
incredulously, I smiled,

he's tripping guitar leads 
counting long-tooth years
and numbers between drum beats

here no rest for the wicked, we...

Flutterby

Butterflies do flutter by and
leaves quiver in the wind
wind willows along its course
a vortexual vacuum of air

air rains down in droplets of life
life is abundant flowering rife
flowers delicately spread thier seed
so whispful the wind is all they need

whispy seeds and whispy wings
wings of bugs spreading things
of every fashion and imagineable type
imagination the heart of life

A Flutterby Soul

A butterfly idea that floats on a whim,
And feeds on a carnal desire.
It feeds and it grows, devouring every thought,
Every thought in a quaint little fire.

These ideas crack and they sparkle, floating around,
Igniting seeds for a crop in the air.
They grow to fields of beautiful butterflies,
Laying all of my soul out to bare.

spirits that we miss

Light upon me

into delicate wisps
Hearts awakened soon are taken

FLUTTERBY
I am a flutterby
Fluttering happily by
With my fluffy wings
Going flip a flop, flip a flop
Oh that’s fluff a fluff, fluff a fluff

I watched in amazement as he perched and preened on my flower, 
his kaleidoscope wings glistening in the sun.

Crouching patiently, admiring the glory and beauty of the moment, 
the sun warmed our very beings and made us one.
