HimaBindu: A Star in Winter's Night

In icy peaks, your name is born,
Hima, a whisper of winter's morn.
Bindu, a droplet, pure and fine,
Together merged, a beauty divine.

Like snowflakes gently falling deep,
Your heart remains, in slumber, keep.
Bindu's tiny form, a universe holds,
Reflecting dreams, like winter's tales unfold.

In frozen landscapes, your soul takes flight,
A gentle breeze stirs, on a winter's night.
Himabindu, a name of serene might,
Shining bright, like stars in morning light.

May your name guide you, through life's design,
As a symbol of hope, in winter's confine.
Himabindu, a beauty, forever in our sight,
A shining star, on a clear, cold winter's night.

ITS BEEN FIFTEEN YEARS WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL

It's been fifteen years since I last saw your face
I guess trying to see you in my dreams has been one big chase
I have cried so many tears
And all I ask from you is a whisper in my ear
Every day I look at your bed and just see a space
Between all my tears I still see your beautiful face
I have so many memories of you every passing day
Today is our birthday, and I guess it will be just another sad day
Sometimes I wish we could just skip this day
On this day sometimes I don't know how to act
Or what to say
When people say happy birthday
Inside I know everything will eventually be okay
So today I will blow out the candles for you and me
Till we meet again
I know there will always be pain
And someday I will meet you again

Joyous Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day, my friends
‘Tis the day to care for each other and to join hands
Friendship matters, love matters
Flowers matter too, brothers and sisters
Please do not be too mad
Because the sky is not blue
Let’s enjoy the morning dew
Please do not be too sad
Let’s enjoy the cold sunny weather
There’s snow here and there, but at the corner
Is spring with fresh air and a bundle of flowers
Friendship matters, love matters
There are sparkles of fire of love in the air
Let’s enjoy the season of love, peace and care
‘Tis the moment to walk happily hand in hand
Together we shall stroll, together we shall stand.

P.S. This poem is dedicated to the lovers of the world.

Too Soon to Flip

March should start tomorrow
But it’s leap year, so it won’t.
For anyone who wants to flip
The calendar, please don’t.

To women who are pregnant,
If your labor starts tonight,
You have ‘til midnight to give birth
Or face your child’s plight…

Since a birthday you can’t celebrate
Each year must be the worst,
Though I’m sure some celebrations
Could be switched to March the first.

Premium MemberMY NAME IS LeiNah Williams- Ms LeiNah Williams February 8th MY BIRTHDAY

Eight years ago this day February 8 2016 I came forth
My name is LeiNah Williams
Yes, Ms. LeiNah Williams
Pronounced Lena’ like in Horn
Yea! And I sing and play the violin
My name is Ms. LeiNah Williams
Non nowhere so familiars
Worth more than billion
I be one of God’s Children
In His army, yet a civilian
LeiNah Williams’s brilliance
In mine resilience
Got mine rhythms
From my daddy (and Michael Jackson)
Definitions, divisions, harmonies decisions
I am my own girl position
Yaw! Say my name right cuz me got big guns
What’s my name, Say mine name?
Birthday today
My name is LeiNah Williams
Yes, Ms. LeiNah Williams
Pronounced Lena’ like in Horn
Yea! And I sing and play the violin
My name is Ms. LeiNah Williams
Hey! Hey! Hey! Happy Birthday to me

Mud month: Salmonath. Kale month.
Named for Februa, the Roman purification
festival, when people were ritually washed.
Some years, February is the coldest month;
Most years, only the second coldest.
Always, it is the shortest month,
even during leap years like 2024.

Cabbage month. Mud month.
A month whose name I practiced
because I needed to get it right:
that pesky first "r". It is the month
my sister's birthday came, 94 times.
She insisted it was on the 13th; clearly
it was on the 12th. Mine is on 15 July.
A 15 July 15 long years after her first February.

Washington's birthday. Lincoln's birthday.
Combined to President's day. Groundhog day.
Valentine's day. ....Ahhhh....Valentine's day!
Too much packed into such a cold, hard month --
one almost long enough to learn to write 2024
instead of 2023. Time, finally, to let go of
all of last year's baggage.

Dismal February days creep by;
wintry February nights are long.
They linger even longer than the
solitary days of my natal mid-July.

My Commanders In Chief

Many think this holiday honors all United States presidents we elect
But let me reflect
It is Washington’s birthday that we celebrate
It honors President Washington and President Lincoln as of late
Let’s see how they relate

Washington was a good ol’ lad
He was the best that America had
Unanimously elected to commander in chief
He gave colonists some hope and belief
Posthumously, promoted to a six-star general
That will forever remain unattainable
Presided over the Constitution writing
That must have been rather exciting
Unanimously elected as our first president for two terms
To which he affirms
Relinquishing his power
Setting a precedent for every successor

Lincoln was a prominent figure
During the Civil War
Another commander in chief
With a strong belief
His Emancipation Proclamation
To end slavery in our nation
He met his untimely demise
By a Confederate that did not sympathize

Both of these men deserve a day
For creating the country we know today
Though it is not perfect in any way
America is where I want to stay!

February is a good month
The month has Valentine's Day
For the couples to celebrate
On this special day together
Family day is a celebration
February has Ground hog Day
When the albino groundhog
Shows his shadow on this day
It means he returns back in his
hole
A longer winter we'll have or maybe
an early Spring-I 'm not sure
February is a birthday month
Some people celebrate
Two birthdays on the same day
Or have a birthday three days from
mine
February is also a leap year month
Yes February is a good month

happy birthday
my sweet friend
this is a date
i don’t forget
my wishes to you
sent telepathically

you were my highschool
best forever friend
each year I think of you
it saddens me that
the forever part
of our bond dissipated
i wish life had not torn us apart

growing up has
its aches and pains
still i reminisce
and think of you
especially on this one day
it’s quite inconceivable how
so much water has flowed
under the bridge of time

i wish you all the best
happy birthday
my sweet friend

A Frail Captain Hook

Waking up, I'm shaken by an awful thought:
it's not a sunny February morning,
but heartwarming wishes on Facebook
alleviate the anxiety of a gloomy feeling
to enliven the mood and be immensely grateful
to God and do what is worth living for, but
is the state of being old that word so painful?
Should aging looks be an embarrassment...
comparing me to a frail Captain Hook
who sailed in rough seas without fright!

People I run into stare at me strangely and guess
my approximate age by the fine line and wrinkles,
but they don't see how young and virile I am inside;
if perfection and handsomeness are the advantages
of the younger men to pursue women and attract,
what are the disadvantages of the older ones?
Is the perception of an enfeebled body a horror to hide,
or an accomplished milestone to make an impact?

Birthday Poem

Happy Birthday, Tom
Another beautiful year with relatives and friends.

The beautiful wedding at Pioneer village, where Tom and Gail married,
With the horse drawn carriage driving past.

Antje was a flower girl,
Gwen was a bridesmaid.

The exquisite house you purchased,
The blessed event when your children Patrick and Frieda were born,

The honorable days as a teacher and friend,
Now happily retired.

The beautiful days at your trailer,
What blessings, we remember our Father Dr. Wolf and Dr. Erika.

I hope you have a healthy and happy year,
Many years to come.

Your children are very accomplished ,
The nice letters Frieda writes ,I enjoy receiving them.

I am very proud of your children , my niece and nephew.
I hope that you have an excellent day with your relatives and friends.

God bless you on your birthday,
Have a wonderful day from your sister Gwen and relatives.

My birthday is on February 1,
and have searched for celebs with that birth date.
but I did not find anyone inspiring.
There were people like Harry Styles, Brandon Lee,
    and Lisa Marie Presley;
and a list of names and pics unfamiliar!
I know nothing about these so called celebs,
nor, do I want to !
        So, all that is left is to speak of me;
    I was born in snow.
In a Winter storm that is,
came into the world crying and never stopped.
Mom said I was dramatic- an old soul,
Grandma said write it, so I did and I do;
have known too much death, sometimes
I need to go inner to find me !

March Days

The windy days of March come and go,
Memories of marriage and children.

Birthdays for the month of March,
Celebrations with balloons, cake and presents.

Happy Birthday to a beloved son and father,
Good wishes for the year, health and happiness.

St. Patrick's Day and the wearing of the green,
Leprechauns and shamrocks bringing good luck.

The snow melts and the crocus and snow drops appear,
Making a guest appearance in the snow.

The warm weather and kites that fly high in the sky,
Last of the ski weather, comes and goes.

Early spring comes and blesses us with good weather,
We wear spring clothes and fashions,

Each day becomes a fashion parade,
We step through the puddles with our boots.

The walk to the park on a spring day,
God's blessings continue to bless us all.
