In the Glory of Light and Mercy

Eternal Father
Bless me so that I may be real in Your presence
May the glory of your light shine down upon me
Where mercy runs through me and pours on the life You have given me
I shall walk in the light of love and devotion
To be the woman of grace I am to be
May I live my life in the day of beauty and show the example of true christianity
I shall choice right from wrong and give the best that I am to be
Let your love be abundant
As I grow closure to the divine spirit You have shown me
Than I shall be mericful and walk away from fear
The light shall shine bright and I will always know You are close and ever so near.

He Rose

In spring slightly occurs
the white blast.
And the night bells shake
the silence.
Unquenchable is this waft
of the candles in the hands sincere,
the lips are touching up the sermon:
“He rose!”
And
The Light is making the leap –
easy and warm.
The Light – the breathing
of the skin of Life.
The Light – forgotten rhythm
ready to stop.

The Light –
“He rose!”

Beyond Place and Time

When reaching for the stars firmament
We rise above the mundane torment
Leaving the angst behind
Climbing higher to find
The power of our own conscious intent.

Each step empowers another dream
And beyond the clouds stars brightly gleam
The guiding light of old
For the daring and bold
Who hold on tight to their living dream.

We get closer each day as we climb
A little nearer to the light sublime
The way may wind and wend
As we strive to the end
To dwell in realms beyond place and time.

A Single Beacon

a single beacon stood
illuminating with a billion lux
everything to be
'til the linear track we call time
came into flux
against hopeful humans clinging
to some stupendous belief
contrived from shapes on the ground.
but the light fell away;
some argued against truth
but there was nothing to be won;
there was nothing to be seen
the patterns of light and its absence
were fragile and faltering
'we believed in shadows ?' they cried
and their anguish was real.

Faith

I believe in more than just what I can see.
For faith is the substance of that, that is yet unseen.
I believe that a man I have yet to meet, laid down his life for me.
And I know that it was his sacrifice that washed me clean.
I believe that he gave his whole life, to give to me.
And one day all will bow, every head, every knee.
I believe that all things happen for a reason
And each of us are called to love and lead
I believe that we are only passing through for a season.
So we must plant carefully the truth, when it is a seed.
I believe someday we will all take our place.
And that I will thank him face to face.
Someday we will have arrived in the place we will abide.
There will be neither darkness nor fear.
For we will all stand in the light of the Son.
And there will be a great wiping away of every tear.
We will come into your kingdom as one.
To sit at the foot of the throne,
To stand in his presence, in a warm embrace.
He’ll take me in, and say “My child, I have never forsaken, nor left you alone.”
And the light of his smile will shine on my face.

The Shadow of Golgotha

Our lord beaten and bloody
Must die like a criminal
To add insult upon injury
Atop his tousled curls
Was set a thorny crown
Pressed into his scalp
He carried his cross
Upon his bloodied back
Through narrow streets
To the baying of the crowds
Then onto the hill of Calvary
Where the prince of peace
Was nailed to his cross of pain
And dealt the final blow
His side pierced by a spear
His earthly life ebbing away
Through the open wound
He called out to God
But not for vengeance
He asked that they be forgiven
And his cross of pain
Cast a Holy shadow
Across the world
That reached every corner
But the shadow cast
Was not one of darkness
But one of light
A divine light
The light of love
Which still shines today
For it is the eternal light of God

"a Better Fix"

I thought I helped you but not so true...
I am sad to see that my work made you blue...
The more I did, might have made it worse...
This problem you can fix its not a curse...
There is light at the end of a dark cave...
But the walk there, you must tread light and behave...
There are potholes and man made traps along this path...
Don't trust a soul and cover up for the draft...
But once your there and you mind is clear...
We can get back to where we were and trust again my dear...
Life is not a story book with happy endings all the time...
We must watch out for demons and tricks of crime...
I'm here waiting when your back to yourself...
With a hug and kiss for you and a smile for myself...

Let Your Light Shine

darkness cannot remain when light appears
the morning sun lights up the darkness of the night
a candle’s flickering flame lights up the darkened room
turn on a light and the dark disappears

think of the light as your positive belief in yourself
over coming any wrong negative thinking in your mind

let your smile be your beacon of light
let it light up your life

give all your power to your light
and any darkness in your life will disappear

its what you think about brings it about

believe you are worthy of your good

Ballad of Arianrhod

Mistress of poets dwells in Caer Sidi
the Lady of the Silver Wheel
she shines her light on Earth to light our way
Great Mother, she knows how we feel.

Her light reflects her glory on the seas
and stars kiss dark waters of night.
Arianrhod, our Lady of the Wheel
shine on us with heavenly light.

As the circle turns the wheel goes around
O Mother of the Celtic flame
your bards shall sing your praises through out time
as it was is now the same.

Night Light

Night Light

The last visitor before I sleep
is always the old priest
puffing up the stairs to my door,
a wine cask under each arm,
a loaf of pumpernickel in his teeth.
He’s always too late to give the last rites,
and even though I’m usually dead by then,
it falls to me to console him.
So I say, “Father, Father,
you don’t have to hurry.
Faith is no longer a klieg.
It’s a night light left burning all day,
and its bulb is hissing.”

Lord, may the spirit of light emitted by these candles on display,
Be pleasing to You and Your heavenly hosts in every way.
May the petitioners who seek The Saint's guidance from Above,
Be rewarded with answers to their plea and Your enduring love!

May each of these feeble flames in our souls ignite,
A glowing blaze to uphold all that is just and right.
May the light that they emit be pleasing in Your sight.
We light them for You, our Creator, our Hope and Eternal Light!

Icy Skies (Monchielle Stanza)

The icy skies reveal
the news that lies in blue.
The killing rages left
a vent of conscious thought,
a wife and child bereft.

The icy skies reveal
the easy living here,
yet hunger wants, still more.
the pain of greed demands
a place in heart and core.

The icy skies reveal
a glimpse in lives and times.
But soft the light that shines
on paths that lead to Zen,
yet glare on Man made shrines.

The icy skies reveal
a truth for all to see
the silver light of love;
it waits to take our hand
within an open glove.

It Is

It is

…in the sky
…on the ground
…inside these doors
…outside this building
…on your plate of food
…on your money
…on your clothes
…on your skin
…right beside you,
right now
…on the flowers of the field
…the irrefutable truth
…all the proof you need
…not revealed by light,
but defined,
…only valued in the light
…everywhere, it is color
 So color is truly defined
By the amount of light allowed
Just like people living inside
Multicolored shells
We are defined by the amount
Of Son’s light we allow in.

Truth and Light in darkest days
Dwelled deep long and fierce
Ageless and alive
Testify to what is and is not
Reality and shadows

Like double-edged swords
Cut clean to the bone
Lay paths straight and bare
Exposing if there be deceit,lies
And all in between

As witnesses to creation
They live in a realm of their own
Steadfast, firm stood Truth and Light
In presence most divine
Whilst God gave names to His creations
Recorded for eternity

Catholics and Protestants Unite !

Catholics and Protestants unite
it's time to join the fight
as we march on toward that light !
It's our job to question the mob ,
as we march on toward that light !
They think it's a game
to dish us the same,
it's our job to question the mob,
as we march on toward that light !
