Little things touch my heart,
Things give my day a glow,
A kindness acknowledged
Or the call of a cheery hello.
Family gatherings are noisy but fun,
Four generations
Great-grandparents to Great-grandson
It isn't all sweetness and light
We don't always agree
But we never fist fight.
Life isn't dull,
It's complete and exciteful
Although at my age
I find a lull
Welcome and delightful.
Like all families
We have shared memories galore,
And in the future
There will be many more
Losses and gains
Happiness and joy
But they will forever remain
Our Girls and Boys
Even when I am gone
And no longer there
The collection of memories
Generations will share
Autumn first of all to fall for winter's sprawl
Snuggling and warm inside
Winter's storm bellowing blustering boasting
Snow deepening by the hour.
Once snow melts then comes spring
All will bud of everything.
Spring is a special season
Sensationally satisfactional growing
Going to be a living wonder. Days of
Icy escapes be gone.
Lively spring falling for summer
On this day we will count the
Time to summer's dawn deliriously
Delicately delightful Dandelions daisies
Daffodils especially Excellently essentially
Exciteful.
A PLEASANTLY MAGNIFICENT THING
Meticulous melancholy Moody
Molly had a mole.
On her belly melon CHOCOLATE
Jelly swelly
Molly Maloy was her name.
Long grew her mane.
Called her melancholy Molly
Olly olly olly oxen free
Molly had a twin named Dolly
Dolly was a dream. Dazzling
Dimpley delightful. Dolly
Could she scream especially
Exciteful .
Something and something
Else. Those two
Dolly and Molly
Spry and coy
Molly and Dolly
Sigh and joy
I picture this being more than a friendship even
though we just met
Your conversation is so strong and seductive with
plenty of intellect
It appears your very mature with the words that come out of your
mouth
To find someone like you is what I’ve dreamed
about
I know I don’t know you and we only talked this one time
But I like you
It’s beginning to be scary, crazy, but yet exciteful
and delightful
Maybe one day you can send chills up my spine, better yet
make me smile
Wait; maybe you’ve done that from giving me you
piece of mind
The way you talk and your words sound
so sincere
And if I’m wrong say I’m wrong but I know you’ll always
be there
It’s a must that I know right now how you feel if there’s
anything
Because one day I would like you to be my
everything
