Birthed at the heart of an evergreen forest,
Is the seven fairies’ indelible legend’s song-crest;
Incessantly chanted echoing from east to west,
Beckoning everyone to enjoy with a swimming vest.

Its legend started with the maidens’ saddest departures,
Oozed tears from them turned into bluest spring’s grandeur;
To mirror an azure sky’s billowing gown that allure,
Where summer travelers sojourn in their satiated leisure.

Surrounded the blue spring are huge trees with sturdy vines,
To swing or move on branches for high diving boards. Oh, so fine!
Some divers swim in cool waters with fishes in different kinds,
While others wish to fly to view its panorama on zip-lines.

Birthed in the heart of an evergreen forest,
Is the seven fairies’ indelible legend’s song-crest;
Incessantly chanted to be known from east to west,
Blue Hole Spring caters the most relaxing place at its best!

Fourth Floor of Nowhere

"Innovation is the key to success"

Renovation of fourth floor they left to me
I was besides myself with glee

Back room had a door that opened to nowhere
There was a staircase that dangled in air
I placed wall behind windows, they opened to nowhere
Outer wall had chairs and table resting in air

It is bizarre, my son my son opined
Everyone will laugh at us, he whined
In crazy ways, your mind does sway
Saying so, in anger he walked away

I named my house nowhere
Advertised it everywhere
To watch it, people did crowd
Now of me, my family is proud

It made me a millionaire
It's true, I am not a liar
If you don't believe, you can sightsee
But you must pay the entrance fee

Elite People

Wake up! This is an alarming sound!
You don't own your life anymore,
Of course, you did everything you could,
You console yourself with this thought.

Only those who live well are those who are under the thugs,
They have closed their circle securely,
They charge a large entrance fee,
But they will not save you from a life of torment.

And you stand alone on the side of the road,
You see how the elite of the city lives.
See how the others serve,
And it seems that life is not so lived.

You know, they never fall down,
If the back of them will always be intact.
And you can cling to the ledge,
But you won't be very valuable to them.

Be careful with your words
They don't feel sorry for you.
Who is the enemy and who is the friend?
These people are lying to you.

Stop letting the "elite" live,
It's time to create your own place in the sun.
It's time to subdue the "elite" of their speed
And hit them with their own method.

Barker

am i not
only going
to get up on
a soapbox and
tell you what you

will see be
hind the curtain
but certainly you'll
agree that the pittance
you paid will seem less then

the value
of what you
saw in second
thought after you
left leaving you with

memories
like a drug
flashback
at any time
or anywhere

your paid penny
entrance fee
will pay over
and over
again

so ladies and
gentlemen
step right
up and
see

the beauty that
didn't launch
a thousand
ships but
a beauty

that has had more
then a thousand
poems written
for her no not
in stone

but the
one and
only mi Musa

God's Open Door

Christ Jesus our Savior is waiting for you.
His door stands open wide.
Won't you accept His invitation,
to come and walk inside.

It's sinner's like you and me,
He gave His life to save.
Not one of us is worthy,
but our sins were covered at His grave.

And don't think good people go to heaven.
Because not one of us is good enough,
despite the good deeds that we do,
we're still all sinner's, through and through!

Yet, His saving grace is there for us.
No matter where we are,
or what we've done,
His arms reach out to everyone.

There is no entrance fee to pay.
Just say, Lord Jesus, show me The Way.
And when you enter into God's open door,
you'll hear all heaven's welcome roar.

All Soupers Invited

Dear friends, I hope you’ll travel soon:
My Souper party’s on the moon;
The first arrival gets a prize.
Although you won’t believe your eyes:
The scenery is pretty stark.
Perhaps we’ll boogie in the dark.
For clothing won’t you take a guess…
The atmosphere is lacking, yes -
And yet we’ll have a lively time.
The entrance fee is just a dime!

Once Upon a Ttme

Once Upon a Time

The small river and the tiny lake we used to swim
had muddy looking water, ugly fish and a crocodile
which ate a goat with a bell that continued to toll?
In the beasts stomach, and warned us when it was
time to get out of the water.
Gypsy children bathed here while their mothers
washed and watched by the shore.
Then the small river and the tiny lake was bought
by a consortium, a tall fence erected and work
began to make the place into a rural, nature park.
Where the river ends, a cascade falls in to the lake
and the water is clean and clear, the bottom of
the lake is cemented and painted blue. Of course
there is an entrance fee to this Paradise, a café that
sells coffee, hot dogs, and ice cold beer.
Gypsy children are not welcome here- not many
places else- they have to find another muddy river
and a lake, not yet sold, to the highest bidder, in our
blessed, divisive democracy.

Abraham Solomon and You

ABRAHAM, SOLOMON AND YOU

If there were an entrance fee to get into Heaven how much would you pay?
And let me tell you brother, it won’t help you now to pray
So you get to Heaven with 56,000 bucks and St. Peter looks at you in scorn
Sorry sir, but The minimum cover charge is the life of your first born

If there were something difficult to do to become Heaven bound?
And you must decide soon before you’re fodder for the ground
Would you sneak up on an old lady and strike her about the head?
Now keep in mind, this is the deal when destiny deems you dead

If the only way you could get into Heaven meant your pretty daughter’s death
Wouldst you cast away your daughter’s life and give a stranger her breath?
What if the cost of Heaven turned out to be the life of your younger brother,
And after your brother bleeds out you must then slay thy mother?

God tempted Abraham on a mount with his son’s death in his hand
And Solomon, when he said he’d split the babe in half, no one could understand
So my brother, to Hell is where you are bound lest thee come up with an answer
“Yo Saint Pete, how about we get rid of the boss and give God colon cancer”

Mrs. Dimitri 2009

The lady sits in her black dress
Her back to the white washed wall
Such a contrast like typed words on a page
She tells you her story without a sound
Husband gone, died but fourty years before
(She will mourn but another fourty more)
Children have all deserted, jumped off the island
Agriculture has no future for a medical degree
Chairs sat empty yet organised around her
As if they once had been filled with purpose
A smile, the only entrance fee to her hospitality
A million wishes granted inside a clear liquid bottle
Yamas, Yasas, Na ci calla
Sweet oranges she peels to bid you on your way
She hopes their golden juices might tempt you back
But her heart as dark as her dress knows you won't
And so she waits on the next group to empty
To find her, discover and applaud her
A quaint break from the ancient ruins that slowly devour her
