Daffodils’ mild scent does permeate the air.
Through the fields dogs do dither then tear.
Rabbits serendipitously spotted that sunny yet showery day.
Many an egg the local farmer’s chickens does lay.
Easter hunt, easter hunt school laxation-professor
Does bear the brunt.
Buttercup, buttercup held bashfully to her face.
Out in the fields, they fiercely chase and race.
Horses, horses are ridden proudly and well.
Pancake day, pancake day, a broken shell who could tell.
Sunshine and shower how nurturing nature makes us far from dour.
In sports as life a missing extra inch
That winnows winners from whiners of fate--
Faced with no way forward, those who’d not flinch,
The rest of chaff gets stuck whilst at the gate.
Easy never comes even tiny pinch,
A seed on its own sprouts, but not sans care,
An inch of care and life is a sure cinch,
Take care of inches, and miles never dare.
Come, Extra Inch, I wish to kiss thy soul,
Miles of long journey’s too far from my heart,
An inch at a time takes me close to goal,
An inch apart today is worlds apart.
An inch separates a halo from noose,
Pinch thyself twice before that inch ye choose.

Training for a marathon, where does someone begin to start
Time to begin six months of intense training, a course I need to chart
Discipline and willpower I must rely on to get the job done
Hard work I am not afraid of it, in fact, I will welcome the challenge and try to make it fun
To be able to accomplish this a combination of great mental and physical strength I must apply
With a balanced diet, lots of sleep, and preparation I must endeavor to try
Some people think twenty-six miles of driving is a long way
When I cross the finish line I will have created a memory surely to stay
Tomorrow bright and early a starting pistol will fire, being focused and relaxed is surely the key
The long journey has finally come to an end, where I finished and how long it took me will have to wait and see
The goal of completing the marathon was all that I wanted to achieve
You can afford whatever you want out of life, you just have to believe
All my idols are dead and my enemies are in power. The man controls the hour try showing blooming flowers growing over coffins and hiding something. We walk and take a step only to be pushed back by men in stolen power, stolen valor falling to our death. They say we are at rest but only held to the devil's breath swallowed belly of the beast hallowed for this is the last supper a feast of beasts. We stand up to only be watched and followed by steel strings of fiends we show our colors bleeding for our sisters and brothers holding the tower where the wolves stand above they say they care and need us but where was your love? I put down these broken tools speaking objective truths they said not to bite the fruit but they only hide the truth inside their suits. Every voice is silenced now as they shoot. We follow a toungless religion when we raise our hands and salute.
Draped in gossamer she holds her pose
perfume surrounds simple musk rose
Artist works on colour palette
Striving for tone of light brunette.
Attic is high with wonderful light
Grecian column painted optic white
Spray of green foliage on ancient cobble
Painted with precision brush does not wobble.
Distant cypress against indigo sky
Canvas holds image that will never die
It hangs in gallery forever admired
How marvelous to be truly inspired.

Verily fulfilling my utmost best
Such makes me triumphant along life’s race
For God blesses earnest diligent zest...
Indeed, I trust* His empowering grace
Driving performance, upholding faith-brace.
Thus, I pray that in every assignment
Be it home chore or teaching endeavour
May the Lord see my sincere engagement
As service with joyous heart’s sweet savour
Midst His great partnership of good favour.
*Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid…
