I look into the enchanted threshold,
my mirror- a frozen lake of glass,
it seems a vast abyss as I stare,
a quiet doorway so smooth.
Oh, who is that girl ?
She is time frozen,
those eyes so dark,
unwavering she watches me,
silent introspection of soul.
Oh, who is this girl staring?
A Bird-of-Paradise displays
and dances into naïve heart.
Its plumage dazzles, bright arrays—
a Bird-of-Paradise displays.
The spell seduces, now betrays;
desire and danger play their part.
A Bird-of-Paradise displays
and dances into naïve heart.
You could have not held this tea party in any other place
The Victorian Enchanted Forest had a certain kind of grace
The carnivores and prey dressed up and ate with each other
Raising their pinkies, using napkins, well-taught by their mother.
their table was always fancy with napkin rings and table linens of lace
violent actions would have been unwelcomed, and a disgrace.
fox, stag, deer, kangaroo, cat, rabbit and squirrel were here today
we had cupcakes at this glorious tea party in the middle of May

enchanted by love
royal blue waves and white sands
with salty kisses
spellbook included Himalayan salt
beak of crow and fingernail of Walt
He made his own magical recipes
Conferred with wise witch to do it with ease
we have never seen a spellbook like this said the cat
he was staring into the cauldron, steam rolling fat
I enchanted it you fool the witch said with roll of her eye
She threw in two frogs, and an unhappy salesman guy
enchanted forest
alive with wondrous magic
under faerie's charm

The look up
Climbing
Enchanted moment
High above
Among the mountains
Valleys deep below
Flowing waterfalls and running streams seen
Horizon aligned
Observing flying birds
Soaring in their comfort zone
Dreams only imagined
Passing breezes
Refreshing dwells
Every breath taken in and out
Heaven’s sensation
Thoughts within
Tomorrow’s voice
Today’s preparation
Climbing back down to reality
Wonders yonder
Warmth of destined sun
Enchanted feel
Destiny found
Opportunity granted
Assurance mounted
Being among the mountains reach.
I had never been to the magical potions shop
but when I heard of it, my questions would not stop
I begged my parents to take me there
But they were not magical and did not care
My enchanted crow was hidden away in my room
He got on my computer and logged into Zoom
Asked a murder of crows for a map which was given immediately.
I am now shopping at a potions shop, with my best friend, Bree.
I had heard of the enchanted cottage of course
Unsure if I had seen it as a child or imagined it.
But I was an adult now, almost twenty-seven.
What were the chances of finding her?
No one who returned could map the route.
It was as if their memories had been swiped clean.
a faerie princess exited the cottage to greet me.
I was astounded, honored, and overwhelmed.
What is your name? She asked me.
Her voice was gentle, soft, concerned.
I could not remember my name.
Thus, you know I could not remember the route.
A translucent apple
crimson in glister
rests upon a cushion
of wedding lace
and silken drapes
in the humming witchwood.
A honeyed perfume
pervades the crystal air
to entice a blessed lady
who savours the rosy flesh
of that glowing fruit
and sinks into an eternal
slumber.
Enchanted nights beneath glow of moon
Love casts its spell as lovers swoon
The stars have twinkles in their eyes
Trees gaze up at the starry skies
As they sway to a starry tune
Frogs on lily pads start to croon
Hoping a reply will come soon
A moonflower stirs and then sighs
Enchanted nights
Shadows play by a glowing dune
Fireflies flicker where leaves are strewn
A cricket's song begins to rise
The moon loves this musical prize
Dolphins babbling in the lagoon
Enchanted nights
my amazing enchanted garden
marigolds hollyhocks lilies
scallopy field of green
yellow dandelions
purple thorned thistles
wild iris
queen annes lace
clover
grass

the fourth dimension unfolds where pumpkins dream—
not carved faces, but swollen worlds pulsing slow.
under the moon's cold coin, vines twist and gleam
like question-mark hooks snagging night's velvet glow.
A pretty woman with a yellow flower bouquet in hand,
Walks down the street in light drizzle,
Her pretty hat covers her flowing blond hair lightly,
The flowing white skirt over dancing legs creates beauty.
A handsome man walks by her,
Immersed in the beauty of streetlights and drizzle,
He hardly notices the pretty woman go past him,
May be the lady’s bouquet was not meant for him.
The street is enchanted with yellow moon and flying birds,
May be this magic will find the man of lady’s dream.
