"In the eye of the grand design,
one brush stroke holds the key"

,

Element of You

The air use to be sour
And taste bitter
No way I was the same
It was time to get better

Water use to be muddy
And still be clear
Late August showed me
There is a worse fear

Fear use to be cold
turned my heart black
There is beauty in the dark
It can put life on track

Dirt use to be poor
Still a home is built
Wish you told me
So I didn't have guilt

Two souls use to be lost
Still searching for their light
Soul to soul they dance
Holding each other tight

Janus Element

Tendrils twist and dance, guiltless, unblamed,
getaway vehicle, of the flame-
uncharged of previous transpyre, that's your game.
Like a serpent you shed your skin of the shame
of the red-handed fire.
You greasy sleaze, you leave yourself lingering,
advertising yourself on the byways,
but coy- like a transmitted disease.
Perhaps Prometheus will give you a place to lay low
till things cool down.
Maybe Haefestus knows what to do with your sort.
I think you should go to Hades,
for swaying every which way the wind blows,
you two faced liar.
But wouldn't it also be fitting if you went back to Aphrodite's Temple and returned to those
choking on the burnt offerings-
of their lust-
choking out true desire.

Touched By This Element

Water sinks in me,
Helps flush the pain, so yet deep—
Made a heart for storms,
Its mild poise or stagnant play—
Dries in growth— willful, it stays.

( A COLLABORATION BY NATASHA L SCRAGG AND ROBERT JAMES LIGUORI )

Aether is the fabric of our universe -
Tiny granules that transfer energy
In the form of waves ~~~
This goes on unseen constantly!

It propagates light and other waves,
Longitudinal and transverse
( Or electromagnetic )
Right across the universe!

Aether stretches far beyond
The laws of physiology!
Did you know that Aether
Is also a god in Greek Mythology?

In chemistry, it is flammable.
It is used as an anaesthetic.
It's a solvent used in industrial processes -
Google it ~ this knowledge is authentic!

But at the same time,
It's a word that is seldom heard.
Most people have better luck
Deciphering the songs of a bird!

But today, ' Aether ' was on my list,
To master and triumph,
As if it was a fifth wish!

Oh, the gravity of this situation,
Like cosmic forces similar to Shakti,
I feel that I have learned so much!
Should I be yelling out, ' Yahtzee! ' ?

The king of the classical elements,
Earth, Air, Water and Fire ~~~
Aether bends and amends our universe,
To be the most desired!

I lay on the sea

it is in us all.

Falling from the skies and eyes
Liquid tears caress, baptize
Warm souls with serenity
Soothing the identity
Like clear, rippling streams embrace
Poetry and prose with grace
Falling from the skies and eyes

Element of Air

lounging on the bench
tender gust envelopes me-
a scent minty as citrus

its wing releases
soft cuddle thinning away-
to blow last huffs of fall's flair

Premium Member Element of Air

Air, water, earth, fire:
     basic elements of Earth-
staunch blessings for all of life.

          Water, earth, fire- null
     without fundamental air
gasped to sustain life past birth.
