Dolor's a thousand elegancies
Abiding within the heart-
A dark-bloomed garden sighing soft
Its tutelage to impart...
"a silly notion"
perhaps a silly notion
is that pink is my color
nothing but pink champagne or
known to all pink lemonade
choose either one for
health of the soul
and refresh all that flows
make the pink essence last
perhaps more than a day
always having her with you
giving life to life as
nothing sweetly compares to
enjoying elegant elegancies

our strange duet is not strange after all
unveiled were light unexpected encounters
relentless being unlikely and unforeseen
still our crossing paths was meant to be
throwing thrills with excitement our way
running as fast and furious then finally
a shining star lit brighter than a rainbow
never giving pause to a perfect silhouette
glowing far beyond the canvas of darkness
everything to this was our strange duet
despite odds and expectations of passion
unleashed was true love and grace gifting
enchanting elegancies to our lives evermore
this our story and our not so strange duet

I wish and believe
nothing is impossible
knowing darkness is far away
clues of beauty and peace
hover within my sight
as music softly whispers
making my soul breathe for
passion and desire unleash
as graces of life awaken

some say summer symbolizes warmth
unleashed with undeniable light
most say the season is rainbow rich
making earth and sky the place to be
evermore for lovers under such spells
running and racing from upcoming cold
time never stands still or sleeps for
impressions harbor until her next roll
managing hourglass sands to downfall as
enchanting elegancies plan each lovesong
search when the moment and softness arrive
placing us all in the middle of what to see
leasing running sands to grant waking hours
as light and warmth linger a little longer
seasons uniquely show styles of no other
holding automatic perennial merry-go-rounds
everything comes full circle to summer light

as my mind wanders within darkness
endurance sees me through to light
I remind myself of where I want to be
onward to a place greater than the sea
unusual for some but perfect for me
unveiled freedom opens my soul
one thought one breath at a time
I turn to the infinite sky
enchanting elegancies fly by
and my mind begins to sigh
always when shadows follow
extended is a feathery hand
I stop to feel its rainfall
only to prove life above all

"eyes of sadness"
within the eyes of sadness
reflections of yesterday swirl
endless memories are looks of today
outward silence differs the inward voice
only a fallen angel recognizes this spirit
for the eyes of sadness overshadow them
remembrance of moments never disappear
as the eyes of sadness takes a toll
diminished are mind body and soul
living a bleached rainbow of the past
enchanted elegancies await to emerge
with new impressions for tomorrow
the eyes of sadness change its course

Would you like to dance?
Just take my gloved hand
And fall into my trance.
Questions apon questions
Of who you may be.
But don't say a word
Romance is a mystery.
Tuxes and gowns and elegancies
Masks and secrets and delicacies.
Champagne and laughter and ballroom dances
Untold lives and tales and one-last chances.
Out of the clear and into the blur
Don't know if it is she or her.
A feathered mask on fate's face
