Summertime Splashes

"summertime splashes"

some say summer symbolizes warmth
unleashed with undeniable light
most say the season is rainbow rich
making earth and sky the place to be
evermore for lovers under such spells
running and racing from upcoming cold
time never stands still or sleeps for
impressions harbor until her next roll
managing hourglass sands to downfall as
enchanting elegancies plan each lovesong

search when the moment and softness arrive
placing us all in the middle of what to see
leasing running sands to grant waking hours
as light and warmth linger a little longer
seasons uniquely show styles of no other
holding automatic perennial merry-go-rounds
everything comes full circle to summer light
some say summertime splashes have it all
